Today is Founder's Day! As the great Dr. Wheatley always says, the English Department's faculty are "all about the students" - whether it's running thought-provoking discussions in class, continuing them outside of class, or staying in touch over the years - "once a Catholic U. English major, always a Catholic U. English major," especially when it comes to how much your professors care. Please consider supporting the English Department and the work that we do to support and cultivate the love that our students have for literature! It is thought to be the biggest single uptake of Latin for younger children. In total, almost 400 primary schools in England are estimated to be teaching the not-so-dead language
