Today, the first workshop as part of the HyTruck project took place, in which we presented the Catalog of technical norms and standards for HRS dedicated for heavy duty Transportation in the BSR, prepared by PSPA - We drive new mobility! in cooperation with AVL Software and Functions GmbH.   Aleksander Rajch presented the main effects of the project, including:   🔹 Full supply chain for hydrogen technologies along with comprehensive technical standards used at individual stages of hydrogen refueling technology - from production, through transport, storage, HRS equipment to the final refueling process.   🔹 The industry's expectations regarding the development and implementation of hydrogen technologies in the heavy road transport sector.   🔹 Main legal aspects regulating the development of HRS in Europe, with emphasis on the AFIR regulation, which is the main document regulating the development of infrastructure for zero-emission vehicles.   The analysis of the above elements was intended to prepare recommendations for the development of hydrogen refueling stations in Europe and to support public administration representatives and all stakeholders in faster implementation of hydrogen mobility on European roads.   We would like to thank all partners of the HyTruck project implemented under the Interreg program and in particular the AVL Software and Functions GmbH team for their substantive support in developing the presented catalog.

#Automation and #sustainability are right now one of the key topics in many #ContainerTerminals around the world! We’ve seen a significant development in #TerminalAutomation, especially in terms of improved safety and decreased machine damages. However, this advancement has very high Capital Expenditure (CapEx) and there are some questions about productivity gains. The equipment electrification technologies are evolving fast, but then again, the battery-based equipment is more expensive. They require a new infrastructure to terminals and due to charging time more equipment is needed for the same capacity compared to traditional diesel equipment. These and many other interesting topics were discussed at Container Terminal Automation Conference (CTAC) Europe in Valencia, Spain, which started on April 17th. #CTAC is a yearly conference organized by Port Technology International (#PTI).
