The year has only started and some of my friends (including myself, I must admit!) are already thinking of travel plans. Here is a really great article from Newsweek. Newsweek has identified 5 sustainable travel destinations, at different price points. The following criteria were considered: 1. All have strong government programs or laws in place to support environmental protection; 2. they have businesses invested in ecotourism that provide accommodations and activities you can feel good about patronizing; 3. and they are spots with tremendous natural beauty, so that you can remember what it is that we're all working to preserve.
