Welcome to the Ultimate Showdown: Conning Conundrum Syndrome vs. Trump Derangement Syndrome!
In one corner, we have... Conning Conundrum Syndrome (CCS)!
- Symptoms: Unshakable loyalty, denial reflex, and the blame game shuffle. Victims insist they haven't been conned by Trump and Putin, despite overwhelming evidence that could make a blindfolded jury shout "Guilty!"
And in the other corner, we have... Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS)!
- Symptoms: Uncontrollable eye-rolling at the mention of Trump, spontaneous fits of fact-checking, and an intense urge to debunk every tweet. Accused sufferers vehemently oppose Trump, sometimes with a fervor that rivals a sports fan during the playoffs.
CCS - "Conning Conundrum Syndrome" is like having a GPS that stubbornly refuses to recalibrate. You're headed for a cliff, but it keeps saying, "Turn right in 100 feet." You’re convinced the destination is glorious, but spoiler alert: it’s a steep drop into reality.
TDS - "Trump Derangement Syndrome" is like having a highly sensitive radar that detects every single Trump-related blip, no matter how small. You’re hyper-aware of every move, comment, and typo, often resulting in high blood pressure and a sudden urge to tweet.
Denial vs. Obsession
- CCS: "No way, Trump’s perfect!"
- TDS: "No way, Trump’s terrible!"
Blame Game vs. Blame Flame
- CCS: "What about those emails?"
- TDS: "What about that tax return?"
Loyalty vs. Paranoia
- CCS: "Trump could do no wrong."
- TDS: "Trump can do no right."
The Hilarious Hypocrisy:
- CCS sufferers are like fans at a magic show, utterly convinced that the magician’s tricks are real, while TDS sufferers are the skeptics yelling, "I see the wires!"
- CCS Remedy: "Come on, admitting you've been conned isn't that bad. Think of it like realizing the magician pulls rabbits out of hats, not thin air."
- TDS Remedy: "Hey, take a breath. Sometimes it’s okay to let a tweet pass by without a full investigation. Not every blip is a bombshell."
In the grand scheme of things, both CCS and TDS could use a little bit of perspective, a dash of humor, and a lot less stress. After all, life’s too short to be stuck in a syndrome, right?
So, whether you’re staunchly defending or constantly critiquing, remember to laugh along the way. Because in the end, we’re all just trying to navigate this crazy world, one conundrum at a time.

When I read things like this and confirms the truth of this article is true. To a person who has never served a day in his life. A person who has never put his country first. To say this that Americans who died in war are losers and suckers! I served 242 months in USMC. As a Recon soldier and a Sniper. That is 20 years and 2 months. 6 deployments 4 times to Afghanistan, 1 time to Iraq and 1 time Pakistan. Lost My very good friend Pat Tillman who passed away. And several Staff Sargent. Almost lost my life in a IED landmine that went off. Almost blowing up my leg and putting in a coma for 6 months. So please respect your Military we do so much overseas that you don’t know about. We deal with so much that you don’t see. And we live for this country 🇺🇸 when others spit on us, talk about us and say the moat harshes worda to us. While other people play a game call of duty and try to live as us but cant!
The Indian Navy's Shivaji statue fiasco should be a warning to the armed forces and its top leadership to not volunteer to be used as an instrument of vote-bank politics of the ruling party. They should focus on the many operational challenges instead.
My column in #ttindia.
If it's acceptable in the armed forces, why not in corporate India? It's time to get local and wear local! 🇮🇳 Check out this interesting article about Indian Navy officers and sailors being allowed to wear kurta-pyjama in messes.

The British Army are so much more than combat; they're about discipline, excellence and commitment. ⭐️
Yesterday's shoot at the 'Trooping the Colour' dress rehearsal really captured the essence of the importance of the ceremony and what makes it a success.
Seeing the BTS irl and speaking to the Guards themselves, really gave us an insight into the work that's put in.
👉 Guards undergo rigorous training for 8 weeks before the ceremony.
👉 Ceremonies help grow a Guard's attention to detail (from uniform to marches).
👉 The soldiers must perform complex drill movements with absolute precision - any mistake during the public ceremony can be highly noticeable, emphasising the need for flawless execution.

Why This Elite Veteran Chose Sarkar Tactical Over All Others 🎖
After over 2 decades of service in the Parachute Regiment, with the last nine in the Special Forces Support Group (SFSG), transitioning to civilian life as a military contractor was no small feat. But for this seasoned veteran, one thing remained non-negotiable: the quality of his gear.
When he set out to find body armour and helmets that would meet the rigorous demands of his new role—training soldiers in the blistering 45-degree heat — he turned to explore the market with one goal in mind: find superior manufactured, spec body armour. The market was flooded with cheap, unreliable copies, but he wasn’t willing to settle for less. His life and the lives of those he trains depend on it.
That search led him to Sarkar Tactical.
From the moment he navigated the website and consulted with the very knowledgeable staff, he knew he had found exactly what he needed and the gear truly exceeded his expectations. The hard armor plates struck the perfect balance between protection and weight—no small feat for someone accustomed to wearing the likes of Osprey and Paraclete. His colleagues, all ex-British and Australian military, were equally impressed, noting the level of protection these plates offered.
As he prepares for his next live-fire training session, this time wearing his Sarkar gear in the extreme temperatures, we’re reminded of why we do what we do. Our products aren’t just pieces of equipment—they’re lifelines for the men and women who use them in the most challenging conditions.
This feedback isn’t just a review. It’s a testament to the quality and reliability of Sarkar Tactical’s products. Built to last. Built to protect. Built with the best materials.
And most importantly, built for those who demand the very best.

This is one of the reasons that Ali Baird and I set up What Makes the Difference CIC there is little to no support in the rehabilitation of service personal when leaving the armed forces.
Serving in the military is more than a job it is an all consuming occupation. Living with your oppos almost 24 hours a day.
The main provision for people leaving HM Forces is to look at what career you want to go in, but that is mostly the bottom half of Maslows hierarchy of needs triangle.
There is no looking to getting to self actualisation. The main obstacles for this are identity and belief systems.
The identity and beliefs around being soldier, salior or airman.
Beliefs that armed forces personal are better than civilians etc.
After leaving there is a lot of baggage to get rid of and making those adjustments can take years. It matters not whether you are a senior officer or a private.
My question can What Make the difference for you after you have left and before you leave?
