Royal Shame For UK Navy! A Power That Ruled The World Now Struggles To Get Escort Warships For Its Aircraft Carrier Two centuries ago, the Sun would never set on the British Empire, which was built on the strength of its Navy. However, a 17-year pause in shipbuilding has proved detrimental to the Royal Navy’s capability. Its aging and overstretched naval platforms mean that in 2025, the Royal Navy’s aircraft carrier, HMS Prince of Wales, will need protection from the Norwegian Navy during its deployment to the Pacific region. The Norwegian government announced on August 6 that Norway will join the UK’s Carrier Strike Group deployment to Japan and the Indo-Pacific region in 2025. Norway’s navy will be providing two warships, including a frigate. Most probably, it will be one of Norway’s four Nansen-class frigates.

Dear Ukrainian Warfighters... Have you ever noticed how there are NOT TicToc videos of current or social media posts about future combat operations involving the US Army Special Forces, US Navy SEALS, USMC Strikers, 75th Ranger Regiment, Special Forces Operational Detachment Delta, 82nd Airborne Division, or any other US military operations? The reason is simple, it's a really stupid idea to share such things which the enemy is watching and taking notes. It's even considered a crime to share such nonsense and especially when it jumps the chain of command and tells 5ws about the unit and the defenders in the unit. What's more surprising is that the American General Staff is unaware that Ukrainian units regularly post these OPSEC violations on TicToc and WhatNot. So obviously the American General Staff can't suggest to Ukrainian General Staff about simple OPSEC violations and how they lead to a jackpot. Or they're timid...or maybe it's a genius plan in the manner of Sun Tzu. Maybe not.

Today, we commemorate the Battle of the Atlantic, the longest continuous military campaign of the Second World War, from 1939 through to the defeat of Germany in 1945. The Battle was crucial to an Allied victory as supply routes in the Atlantic Ocean were vital in allowing the Allies to accelerate the build-up of air forces, the transport of troops, food, medicine and equipment for the invasion of continental Europe in 1944. By early 1943, the Battle had reached its peak with the Allies successfully destroying almost 100 German U-boats in the first five months of the year. This had a significant impact on Germany's capacity to threaten Allied shipping. Despite German U-boats resurfacing in the Atlantic, they never regained the same level of threat, and the Allies were able to secure the supply routes across the Atlantic. Over 5,000 Australians were involved in the campaign, serving in the Royal Australian Navy, the Merchant Marine, the Royal Air Force and Royal Australian Air Force.
