"The Navy wants to discover what's possible. And we're honored to give them the solutions they need to save lives," Fatema Hamdani, Kraus Hamdani Aerospace CEO.
In a landmark step towards revolutionizing naval operations, we underwent a comprehensive down-selection evaluation process where key capabilities of our K1000ULE unmanned aerial systems (UAS) technology were evaluated.
Conducted at a government test facility and overseen by the University of Maryland UAS Research and Operations Center, the rigorous testing process showcased our UAS's exceptional capabilities, including:
→ Flight endurance
→ Vertical take-off and landing capabilities
→ Quiet operation to minimize the risk of detection
→ Reconnaissance, surveillance and target acquisition line-of-sight range tests
→ Enhanced maneuverability, reduced transportation and logistics requirements
→ The ability to operate in various environmental conditions, including day and night
+ many more.
🏆 We are now proud to say that our 100% solar-electric Group 2 UAS, the K1000ULE VTOL UAS, was selected by the U.S. Navy to enhance its capacity to perform reconnaissance and surveillance operations with fast, actionable intelligence information even in environments with degraded Global Positioning System conditions.
The winning solution package stands out from the perspective of both software and hardware.
This contract puts us in an even stronger position to keep enhancing our offerings in the future. By choosing the K1000ULE UAS, the U.S. Navy has shown continued confidence in our product offerings, and we couldn't be more honored.
