Right before the pandemic hit in 2020, I celebrated my 29th birthday by achieving my goal of visiting all seven continents. Standing on the deck of that Antarctic cruise ship shifted my total world view and how I saw myself a within it. It was an honor to share the wisdom gained from my travels with Jonece Starr Dunigan for Reckon Media. Perfect timing for the start of the new year. Read the full piece here: https://lnkd.in/gdc2vFdC

To me, freedom means forging my own path instead of always following others. What works for one person may not work for everyone, so trust yourself and confidently choose your own way. #happyindependenceday2024 #torfacindia #torfac #marketresearch

🛣 What are we missing out on by rushing from A to B? I have recently been watching ‘Race Across the World’. I know, late to the party, but the sentiment of the opening remarks made me sit back and reflect: “Reaching the other side of the world has never been easier. But, by flying over, are we forgetting how to travel through?” This thought, while rooted in travel, extends far beyond. It sparked a series of questions in my mind: 1) How often do we find ourselves racing from A to B, fixated on the destination rather than the journey? 2) In our haste, what moments, sights, and experiences are we overlooking? 3) Do we consciously think about slowing down occasionally and enjoying the “journey”? I have been guilty of prioritising efficiency, moving from A to B in as short a time as possible (physically and metaphorically). However, a journey last week gave an opportunity to reflect on this once again. En route to London, a closure on the M40 diverted me through the scenic Cotswolds. This unplanned journey turned out to be one of the most delightful drives in recent memory. Whilst this was a forced detour, it took me back to the opening statement from Race Across the World. What strategies or practices do you employ to embrace the present and appreciate the journey?

We provide life changing Career Guidance for study abroad, work abroad and migrate abroad.Value Engineering , Valuation, Planning, contracts/ claims . Arbitration& Mediation.Drafting & case law support.Legal Advice
It will all depend on what skills , capabilities and confidence youth have and whether this resource can be tapped to bring rapid progress. Mere statements without road map will not take India anywhere. We have to convert rhetoric to reality and it's possible. For the right person skills and capabilities development from study abroad will open opportunities abroad. The future for Civil Engineers who want to migrate abroad is bright as site work has to be done at site and can't be done remotely like software. Infrastructure is ageing across developed countries like USA and Germany, they might not have skilled manpower and Engineers, they will look forward to India. 30 years before Singapore came to India to recruit Engineers for metro projects executed by land transport authority.

This week, we celebrate the incredible journey of Sibongile Sambo, the founder and managing director of SRS Aviation - the first black female-owned aviation company in South Africa! Sibongile's story is a great inspiration to me... She was initially denied her dream of becoming a flight attendant because of her height 👧🏽, but she didn't let that stop her passion for aviation. Instead, she used that as a springboard to even greater heights! ✈️ My Inspirations from her story... 1️⃣ Don't Let Anything Stop You: Sibongile's story teaches us that our dreams are worth pursuing, regardless of our situation or background. There will always be obstacles, but they don't have to be roadblocks. 2️⃣ Blessings in Disguise: Sometimes, what seems like a limitation can be a blessing in disguise. Challenges can push us to explore new avenues and discover hidden talents. 3️⃣ Think Outside the Box: Obstacles can be catalysts for innovation. When faced with a hurdle, use it as an opportunity to get creative and find alternative paths to reach your goals. 🎯With a refusal to be limited by circumstances, and the willingness to adapt, and we can achieve remarkable things. #SRSaviation #EntrepreneurLife
