Sales - I heard this quote “if your a sales guy you can sale any item, from cars to vacuums” The first thing that came to mind was dilution. If you don’t not know the product inside and out. You won’t be able to sell. Step #1 Study the product! In glass and glazing we are always learning there is so much to know regarding glass types, hardware, and aluminum systems. If you don’t know the answer say I don’t know but I will get back to you. Don’t tell people what they want to hear to close the deal. Manage client expectations provide realistic lead times. Ask for time to find the information they are after. You got a glass and glazing project call Stadia 416-525-8162.

Flashing… No we aren't getting undressed, this is a family company. What is Flashing when it comes to metal roofing? To simply define it, it is a flat, thin piece of metal used to help waterproof the perimeter and protrusions of roofing systems. Flashing is used to direct water away from the seams and joints and prevents it from entering the openings and cracks in a roof. Flashing comes in several shapes and sizes for ridges, corners, trim pieces, etc., that help complete the look and function of your metal roof. Imagine holding two pieces of metal panels together, water can still get through, but if you add a blocker in the crease now it is waterproof… that's flashing. So, be sure to ask your MFMRS sales expert about what flashing your metal roof project needs.

A good sales strategy is like building a skyscraper It's not thrilling at first, but... Without the proper foundation, everything falls apart. Just like in construction, where hours are dedicated to laying a solid base, Effective sales starts with understanding your customer's needs, buying habits, budget, and timing. Building rapport takes time and effort, but it pays off in trust. When customers see you as an authority in your field, they’re more likely to buy And they keep coming back! Once that foundation is set, the rest of the sales process can accelerate 5-10 times faster than the groundwork ever did. Strong foundations lead to towering sales successes. #sales #industrial #machinery #capitalsales

Commercial roofing jobs and Dura Polymers Roof Coatings products can be easier to sell than other products and services. Regardless of technical innovations, building is a trade that will always be in demand. Other industries and their respective services and products, however, may be subject to the market whims of the day and change quickly. Furthermore, since a roof is the most important part of a building – after all, it is what protects the building and its contents from bad weather and harsh outdoor elements—it is critical that premium-grade roofing products be used for a building’s long-term protection. Therefore, sales opportunities that advocate on behalf of contractors who are able professionals, or DURA POLYMERS ROOF COATINGS roofing products that have proven track records of performance, will continue to abound—and present chances for serious income-building potential. Many contractors are attracted to commercial roofing due to its lower physical requirements and stresses compared to other parts of the building industry. Many contractors who get started in commercial roofing note that they made the switch from residential roofing or other parts of the building industry due to this roofing’s lower physical requirements. This tendency is especially true of commercial roof contractors who work with low-impact roofing systems such as Dura Polymers Roof Coatings flat roof coatings system . Because commercial roofing can attract contractors on this note alone, there are many opportunities for a sales professional to engage contractors and help them make the transition.

Sales Trainer - Learning & Development Specialist, TEDx Speaker - Founder & Director - Keynote Speaker - Writer - Founder
Let’s consider this scenario; Mark is a sales rep for a company that supplies construction materials such as cement, lumber, and roofing materials. His main responsibilities are generating leads, engaging with potential customers, and converting them into clients. Mark spends a significant portion of his time making outbound calls to builders, architects, contractors, and construction project managers. During these calls, Mark’s main objective is to schedule initial face-to-face meetings with potential leads and convert them into opportunities. However, Mark has been struggling to book any meetings and hit his sales quota. Mark’s efficiency heavily relies on how quickly he can move leads through the sales pipeline, speak to decision makers, book meetings with them, qualify them into opportunities and close deals. However, Mark spends more time dialling without being able to reach the main decision-makers. When he does reach a decision-maker, although he has some great conversations, he doesn’t seem to be able to close many meetings. So, what can Mark do differently to optimise his outreach and be more efficient? He needs to know his numbers so he can refine his strategy. Read the full article to learn about the 5 key metrics that someone in Mark’s position will need to learn and measure. 👇 https://lnkd.in/gC4WgCZr #thesellingacademy #sales #b2bsales
