The F-4 Phantom II, a signature combat aircraft of the Cold War, and arguably the Father of #PhantomWorks and where we get our name sake is a beast of plane and an engineering marvel in and of itself Despite its unconventional appearance (Its so ugly its beautiful), this two-seat, twin-engine, all-weather, long-range supersonic jet interceptor proved so adaptable that it saw service across all three combat branches of the United States, with a total of some 5,195 aircraft built, making it the most produced American supersonic military aircraft in history. One of the most interesting roles of the F-4, in my opinion, was the #WildWeasel role. Equipped with anti-radiation missiles, it was tasked with Suppression of Enemy Air Defenses #SEAD. A famous quote by Jack Donovan, a veteran Electronic Warfare Officer #EWO, upon learning that he was going to fly back-seat in a Wild Weasel sums up the role quite well: "You want me to fly in the back of a tiny little jet with a crazy fighter pilot who thinks he's invincible, home in on a SAM site in North Vietnam, and shoot it before it shoots me? You've gotta be shittin' me!" The F-4 Phantom II's legacy is undeniable, and its impact on military aviation cannot be overstated. #FirstinLastout

My Year 11 class concluded the term of hard work with a World War II themed board game. They were very excited when they won as the Axis Powers against me as the Allies. You will see that there was only one victory point in it! That's a wrap 🎬 U Assist Veterans campaign complete ✅ This marks my third in-game activation with Call of Duty Endowment for Military Appreciation Month and my most memorable to date. While past events have been equally creative to develop and market, no such event has been as immersive or rewarding from a player perspective. For starters, this challenge was organic to the gameplay experience; UAVs are as integral as your loadout. Regardless of your preferred game mode, player progress was tracked on a dedicated event page within Call of Duty. And in the end, the rewards were ample and awesome; seven thematic cosmetics that unlocked the coveted animated camo. From conceiving the player rewards to composing in-game copy across the player journey, I had as much fun constructing this event as I did completing it. But most importantly, the impact speaks for itself - 271 million UAVs called in to directly support 1,663 veterans in their search for meaningful employment. Strong salutes to the team at Sledgehammer Games who have redefined the in-game Endowment challenge for Military Appreciation Month. #CallofDuty #Gaming #Veterans
