EEN OSH Ambassador in Bulgaria: Tihomira Kostova The European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) collaborates with the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) to enhance workplace safety, health, and productivity across Europe. Since 2009, the EEN has partnered with EU-OSHA to promote awareness of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) issues among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and micro-enterprises. As part of this initiative, the EEN in Bulgaria has appointed Ms Tihomira Kostova as the OSH Ambassador at national level to raise awareness, share information, and conduct research on the importance of employee health and safety. In 2024, the Bulgarian OSH Ambassador will actively support the ongoing Healthy Workplace Campaign in the Digital Age 2023-2025. The European Directive on Platform Work is forthcoming. The Directive is designed to guarantee the correct classification of the employment status of people performing platform work and to introduce the first ever EU-rules on algorithmic management and the use of artificial intelligence in the workplace.
