Like many rotator cuff tear patients, Francois couldn't bear the thought of being unable to do the activities he loves. Fortunately, his bioinductive repair exceeded all expectations for recovery and he's now "at a point where there's zero pain". When patients like Francois highlight why the proof is in the repair, is it proof that we need an alternative to traditional repairs? Did you know there are different categories of bone fractures? I've assisted many providers with conscious sedation in the ER to set fractures with closed reduction. Other fractures require surgical intervention and are classified as open reduction. Which type of fracture do you think takes the longest to heal and can have the most complications? 🌟 Bri the LNC Brianne@ClarityLNC.com www.ClarityLNC.com 📲 315.651.0477

https://lnkd.in/gmhrFAa9 This was a really interesting case study about a patient with anaphylaxis, hypotension, semi-conscious, has vomited, friend brings him into the ED, no EMS report, friend scooped him up and brought him to the ED. Lots of talk about epi doses, when to give the epi, routes, how long to continue epi once the patient improves, NIPPV or not on the semi-conscious/ vomiting patient (answer is no in this instance) awake intubation or not for anaphylaxis with a difficult airway, how does vomiting complicate that, (lots of talk about when to move to a surgical airway, just in general), dispo. Very good.
