Startups are the driving force behind innovation, with over 50 million new startups launching every year! 🌍 This year at the GREENTECH FESTIVAL, we created an exciting opportunity for startups to showcase their innovations in a dedicated Exhibition area: our Startup Land. After an intense selection process, we chose 50 super startups to participate in the event and offered them a FREE exhibition space (including electricity and booth branding). To make things even more fun, I selected three of those startups to give their 30-second elevator pitches. Now, it’s up to you to decide which startup stands out the most! SIRPLUS: Fighting food waste in Germany by rescuing surplus food and selling it through their online shop. SIRPLUS collaborates with producers and wholesalers to save valuable food and promote sustainable consumption, reducing food waste and contributing to climate protection. Nico Rosberg - my vote goes to NIU NIU! I recently moved from Frankfurt zo Boston. In that process we sold our house, which we owned for 16 years. I was amazed by the amount of gadgets we accumulated over the years and by how many time I had to drive to the recycling center to drop off old electronics. That’s one move of how many a day globally? Crazy to phathom how much electronic waste is created daily.
