Asset Re-entry Operations Over the past two decades, the Kegoz Oilsystems Limited has been involved in numerous field re-entry projects. Moribund fields that had been abandoned for decades, and even touted to be unproductive, have been brought to full production and commercialization. Quite numerous producing fields in Nigeria now, were brought into production by the Kegoz Oilsystems...that, my friends, is a story for another day, however... Industry players do recognise the importance of Kegoz in the oil & gas upstream space, especially as regards re-entry projects. On this day 2nd September 2024, the Kegoz Oilsystems sets sail to the western Niger Delta estuarine for a major re-entry project, touted to spread over a 24-month period. Our major objective is to bring the fields into production, increase production by circa 30.000bpd and 10mmscf, for the benefit of our principal clients, and all stakeholders. In Kegoz, there are no limitations...it is always possible!!!

From Installation to Commissioning: My Role in Africa’s Largest Offshore Project at Dangote Refinery. It’s been an honor to be part of one of #Africa’s most significant offshore engineering projects the Dangote Petroleum & Petrochemicals. For over 5 years, I worked with an exceptional team on the pre-installation and #commissioning of 5 Single Point Mooring (#SPM) systems and 5 #Pipeline End Manifolds (#PLEMs) an #offshore #infrastructure achievement that is unprecedented on a single #platform. The sheer scale and technical complexity of managing these SPMs #manufactured by SOFEC, Inc. was a massive undertaking, all carried out at Eko Support Services Limited in the Port of Lagos, #Nigeria. Being a #Mechanical Engineer on this project presented a unique opportunity to push the boundaries of what I thought was possible. One of the pivotal moments of my experience was ensuring the #rotation of the 5 #SPMs, designed to rotate a full 360 degrees. We encountered stiffness in two of the units, but with rigorous #troubleshooting, we identified the issue at the turntable corrected it, and cleared the way for successful offshore #installation. To witness firsthand the journey from the pre-installation phase to commissioning, and now seeing the Dangote Petroleum & Petrochemicals fully operational, has been nothing short of #inspiring. The #refinery stands as a beacon of progress not only for Nigeria but for the entire #African continent and the world at large. This project is a testament to the power of #collaboration, #innovation, and #perseverance in the face of immense #challenges. I am grateful for the opportunity to #contribute to a project that will shape the future of #energy and industrial #development across #Africa. PRESS RELEASE NETCO Posts 137% Increase in Operating Profit for 2023 ...Targets 5% Increase in Market Share through EPC Projects The NNPC Engineering and Technical Company (NETCO), a subsidiary of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.), has announced a 137 percent increase in operating profits for the year 2023. This was disclosed by the Chairman of the company’s Board of Directors and Executive Vice President, Downstream, NNPC Limited, Mr. Adedapo Segun, at the Company's 34th Annual General Meeting held in Lagos on Friday. The Board Chairman explained that NETCO recorded a 101 per cent revenue increase in the year 2023, reflecting a turnaround in operating results, which rose by 137 per cent, reversing the previous year's deficit. He also noted that there was a 145 per cent surge in the company’s gross profit compared to the previous year. Also speaking at the AGM, the Managing Director of NETCO, Dr. Tonye Alagba, said the company is focused on growing its business portfolio in 2024 and beyond. "To achieve this, the company is working strategically to expand its service offerings within the oil and gas industry in 2024, invest in the development of human and other resources, reduce direct and overhead resources and minimise risks", Alagba stated. The NETCO helmsman further stated that the company aims to increase its market share by at least five per cent through participation in mainstream EPC projects, stressing that the company will bid for a minimum of 32 Tenders with a target of securing at least 15 contracts. He listed other targets to include: a 21-day invoicing cycle; a minimum of 85 per cent debt collection efficiency; a minimum customer satisfaction rate of 71 per cent; acquisition of critical assets such as fabrication yards and offshore logistics support base; and development of exclusive collaborations with key technical partners like KBR and Petrofac, amongst others.
