Shockingly, no mining or resources companies made the cut for the WGEA Reporting Employer of Choice for Gender Equality citation holders list released today. With 115 companies recognized across all industries, this is a glaring gap. Equileap has partnered with Solactive AG to launch the Solactive Equileap Emerging Markets Gender Equality Index. The index tracks firms from emerging markets with a strong performance in relation to gender equality “Investing in companies with a gender lens is not only good for the world but also good for the wallet,” Diana van Maasdijk,CEO at Equileap told #SRP. Yara's recent recognition by Equileap, ranking 7th globally for gender equality, highlights our commitment to promoting an inclusive and diverse workplace, where women are not just included, but empowered to thrive and advance. 🚀 However, the same Equileap’s research also reveals that out of 3795 companies evaluated, only 32 have achieved gender balance across all levels and 41 have closed the gender pay gap.
