I’ve been rookie of the year in my first year as a mortgage broker. I’ve been in the circle of champions as a telecommunications rep I’ve been number one in sales on my first month in construction sales I’ve built a team of sales reps that bring in $1million in revenue each The list goes on… Whether I was working with a company, or building my own. I’ve always excelled as a top achieving, people person, sales executive. After building multiple sales teams I can say one thing is certain. No matter how many scripts you read, without the right foundation built into your thinking, you will always find it difficult to adapt on the fly. One of the biggest reasons I have an almost 100% close rate is because I don’t let objections come up. Eliminate objections with relatable stories and information.

I noticed, we have more and more Mortgage Administrator / Paraplanner roles coming up. Which got me thinking 🤔 As you grow your brokerage, do you grow through more and more brokers? Or, grow by supporting your current brokers to be more productive, with enhanced admin support? Which then got me thinking 🤔 Which type of Admin support gets you the most ‘bang for buck’? Pre-offer? Post-offer? Sales progression? Mortgage only? Protection? Full paraplanner? What works best for you?

This most recent job openings report caught me by surprise–it came in way below expectations. Now, you might be wondering why that's got me so fired up. Well, it could signal a shift in our economic landscape that we need to keep an eye on. The real excitement? Mortgage rates are dropping! We're seeing conventional loans below 6.5%, jumbos under 6.75%, and FHA loans under 6%. These are rates we haven't seen in a while! With the Fed meeting coming up on September 19th, the market's buzzing with anticipation. This could be the push that brings buyers back in force. My advice?
