A way to draw attention to the blooming French AI stage, which has been particularly promising recently. As an #AI pioneer in the French ecosystem, Preligens was thrilled to be part of the conversation and to present our latest innovations in vision AI (images, full motion video) and acoustics. The French Ministry for Armed Forces showcased the French Navy’s AI for “Oreilles d’Or” project 👂 An acoustic detector can enhance drastically our analysts capabilities thanks to artificial Intelligence processed algorithms. And this said by the French Navy’s acoustic analyst himself making a tailored-made demonstration of Acoustic Intelligence monitoring ⚓ . A great moment for all fans of the movie “The Wolf’s Call” / “Le Chant du Loup”. 🌐 EVENT: European Convergence Summit 2024 💜 The online event organised by Adra - AI-Data-Robotics-Association will take place on June 19th 2024, it represents a great opportunity for the KT4D community to build knowledge around the AI landscape. The main focus will be redefining research directions and building consensus, with a special focus on ADR's impact on #Energy and #CO2 reduction. The event promises to showcase success stories on the interaction between at least two technologies - among #AI, #Data and #Robotics - by inviting EC-funded projects to contribute through the ADR Exhibition. In addition to the ADR exhibition, the overall structure of the event will be divided in three blocks and a final session - the foresight panel - supporting the dissemination of key takeaways at the end of the Summit. Kenya will host the 2026 Global Data Festival, as announced by President William Ruto at the United Nations General Assembly on September 26, 2024. The event, organized in partnership with the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data, aims to drive global collaboration on data, AI, and technology to advance sustainable development goals (SDGs). The festival is expected to draw over 3,000 participants from around the world, spotlighting Kenya’s growing influence as a tech hub in Africa. The Global Data Festival will provide a platform for international dialogue on how data and AI can address critical economic and social challenges. With Kenya’s National AI Strategy and Code of Practice in development, the country is positioning itself at the forefront of AI innovation. This announcement follows Kenya’s involvement in signing the Bletchley Declaration at the UK’s AI Safety Summit, further solidifying its role as a leader in the digital transformation space. The event promises to inspire new partnerships and innovations, with the broader goal of ensuring that the benefits of digital advances are widely shared across sectors and regions.
