Streamlining luggage management at hotels: saving staff and guests 164 hours per month!

Exactly two months ago I stepped off the katamaran CLEO in Papeete Marina which marked the end of a +1000 nautical miles long adventure in French Polynesia. For the first time in ages a worrying thought crossed my mind: What will I do when I get home and how long will it take to find a new project that I can really be passionate about? 🤔 Searching for open positions and writing numerous job applications is one way to seek it, but I have never really been af fan of that method. The return on time invested is simply way too low (and boring). Instead, I decided to reach out to people in my network who at some point have sparked my curiosity. One of them was Jannik Lawaetz. Luckily for me, Jannik was searching for a guy to take the lead on his newest project: HotelsHero (powered by LuggageHero). Given my experience in hospitality from working at Scandic Hotels I quickly caught the potential of digitizing luggage storage at hotels. A process which currently is very time consuming, ineffective and screams for someone (like me) to go and change it. The ABC of what I truly love about innovation: changing status quo for the better! 🤘🏼 Today, I launched my very first partnership with Hotel Astoria. A partnership that will save the front staff huge amounts of their valuable time every day by freeing them from luggage management. If you work in hospitality or can think of someone who's time is too valuable to spend on luggage, I'll be happy to connect! #carryless #domore #newjob
