Sorry for the delay in posting this: The Austrian Grand Prix 2024 was a rollercoaster ride for many drivers. Especially Max Verstappen and Lando Norris. Their fight for P1 cost them a bounty as they limped back to the pits with severe damage and tire punctures. One finished P5, and the other couldn't finish the race. However, this opened the door to the podium for Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team driver, George Russell, McLaren Racing driver Oscar Piastri, and Scuderia Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz. But this race had some other highlights too. Like MoneyGram Haas F1 Team drivers finishing in points after a LONG time. They are beginning to show a good pace now. Daniel Ricciardo also finished in the top 10 after the Miami GP Sprint. But do you know that this race has the highest number of penalties given to drivers compared to other races? To know more about that and how the Alpines are struggling to keep the team together, read my report on the Austrian Grand Prix! The article link is attached in the comments. Just to jog your memory about the Austrian GP weekend, the link to the Sprint Quali and Sprint are attached in the comments #austriangp #redbull #mclaren #ferrari #alpines #haas #formula1

🏎️ It’s race week! 🇧🇭 The 2024 Formula 1 season gets underway in #Bahrain this weekend following on from last week’s pre-season testing. Ferrari's Carlos Sainz was fastest in testing. 🇸🇦 The first two races this season (Bahrain and #SaudiArabia) will both take place on the Saturday of the weekend, not the Sunday, to align with the start of Ramadan on Sunday the 10th of March. Other key themes going into this season: - 🇨🇳 The return to #China for the first-time since Covid. Potentially huge for commercial partners with an interest in the market, and for regional brands now seeing F1 as a viable marketing tool once again. - 🟣 Lewis Hamilton’s final season with Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team. How will the x7 time World Champion leave a team he has become synonymous with? Who will be putting themselves forward as his replacement? (I hope it’s Kimi Antonelli - so keep an eye out for FIA Formula 2 this season). - 🇳🇱 It is *almost* a foregone conclusion that Max Verstappen will be claiming a 4th World Championship - keep an eye on the battle for second between McLaren Racing, Scuderia Ferrari and Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team. - ⚔️ The inter-team battle between Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri at McLaren is another story I am looking forward to seeing unfold. #Formula1 #Motorsport #SportPartnerships

Will Norris never get a championship? Watching Norris race in #F1 at Silverstone last year was immense, the crowds cheered him every lap as he was the only one keeping the RedBull of Verstappen honest. A very likeable and marketable bloke, always smiling, great for the McLaren Racing brand, but … There are two factors that affect his future potential achievements: 1) He has committed long term to McLaren, which is ultimately a gamble. A betting person would put McLaren a steady 4th place team, fighting it out for 3rd in the constructors every year. They had a great season last year, but let’s not forget that Scuderia Ferrari and Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team had a poor year really. This makes a drivers championship hard to achieve for any McLaren Racing driver. 2) Does Lando Norris have that extra little bit, that GOAT potential, that determination to put his car in front when it’s a tight race, taking the risk of losing it all whilst going for the win? In race trim over the last few seasons both Lando and Charles Leclerc have shown a lot of respect to Max Verstapen, maybe a little too much. No one doubts whether Max has the determination, but watching Norris, he is a great racer, lovely bloke, but maybe, just lacking the bite to win? If he was prepared to take Max out in order to win, maybe he would find that bite! Only time will tell! #formula1 STACKS fS CREATIVE in TiME Andrea Darren Paul Thomas

Bono, le mie gomme sono sparite. It's the Italian translation for "Bono, my tyres are gone". Similarly, there are rumors that Bono has also gone with Lewis to Ferrari. #Curiosity101 ↖ Can Lewis Hamilton win a drivers championship with Scuderia Ferrari? Let's look at the stats of various drivers during their tenure with Ferrari: Till date - 44 different drivers have raced for Ferrari. - 20% of them - 9 different drivers won Drivers' championship. ( Alberto Ascari, Juan Manuel Fangio, Mike Hawthorn, Phil Hill, John Surtees, Niki Lauda, Jody Scheckter, Michael Schumacher, Kimi Räikkönen ) - 2 drivers managed to win 2 drivers' championship: Alberto Ascari, Niki Lauda. - Only 1 driver was able to win 5 championships - Michael Schumacher. ⚡ But till now, no one has ever been able to break the superstitious pattern of 7 Drivers' Championships. - Will Hamilton win his 8th World title with Ferrari and be in that 20%? Only time will tell. (Comment your thoughts as well) Do follow #Curiosity101 to hear such curious aspects. #Formula1 #F1 #LewisHamilton #Ferrari #Curiosity101 #Championship

This was one of the most enjoyable sprint weekends. Red Bull Racing & Red Bull Technology don't fail to impress their home crowd, as Max Verstappen wins the Sprint race in Austria. McLaren Racing is making things difficult for the reigning world champion as Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri finished in P2 and P3. Watching a team give Red Bull a tough time after ages is fun and satisfying. I think Silverstone needs to revise their ticket prices. Even if Max Verstappen is winning races, it is becoming a struggle with every race as the Papaya team threatens his indomitable status. Red Bull is not as unrivaled as it used to be. While Red Bull and McLaren locked horns, the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team and Scuderia Ferrari were fighting it off for the next top positions. As much as I understand that the T20 World Cup might still take the Austrian GP's thunder, nevertheless, I do look forward to the race tomorrow. To know about the other events that took place during the race, take a look at my article. It is a detailed account of the Sprint qualifying and the Sprint race. I have attached the link in the comments. P.S.: Get well soon, Lando Norris! Zak Brown, take good care of him! #formula1 #t20worldcup #austriangp #sprintrace #ferrari #redbull #mercedes #raceweekend #mclaren #astonmartin #alpine

We need to talk about Nyck De Vries. Was he a missed opportunity for Scuderia AlphaTauri F1 Team or simply not cut out for Formula 1? Here’s a brief summary of his career: 👇 - Nyck spent three years in FIA Formula 2 and won the title in 2019 - Mercedes signed de Vries to their Formula E team while using him as the test driver for Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team - After being crowned 2020 Formule E champion, Nyck was on the hunt for a permanent seat in Formula 1 - At the 2022 Italian Grand Prix, Williams Racing’s Alex Albon fell ill, and de Vries was substituted in. He would finish P9 and score points for in his debut race - AlphaTauri take interest in Nyck’s performance and sign him up for the 2023 season So it’s safe to say that de Vries didn’t follow the conventional path to F1. And by the time he had a permanent seat, he was already 28 years old. (For context, Max Verstappen is 26 and already a three-time world champion) In the customer Red Bull team, Nyck couldn’t replicate his one-off performance for Williams. In 10 race starts, de Vries went pointless and had a best finish of P12. Helmut Marko, head of the Red Bull’s driver development programme, decided to sack de Vries and replace him with Daniel Ricciardo - not even half way through his rookie season. Nyck has since re-joined Formula E, signing for Mahindra Racing for the 2024 season. This behaviour isn’t uncommon for Red Bull. Driver swaps have happened on multiple occasions, with the likes of Max Verstappen, Pierre Gasly and Alex Albon all being promoted/demoted between the two Red Bull Racing & Red Bull Technology teams. But how do we feel about Nyck’s treatment? Was he underperforming or did AlphaTauri not give him enough of a chance? Let me know your thoughts below. 👇 P.S. was Daniel Ricciardo the best signing, or should Liam Lawson have been given a permanent seat? #Formula1 #FormulaE #Motorsports

We can learn many things from life. Today sees Sir Lewis Hamilton win his record breaking 9th Silverstone Grand Prix and his first win since Saudi Arabia in 2021. It was a very emotional finish for Lewis, he was filled with so many emotions. Joy, relief, and elation for being back in racing contention for him and Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team. In Lewis’s team radio messages and in the interviews you can hear how much this home race win means to him. We heard from Lewis who explained that it has been a very tough time since his last Grand Prix win in 2021. He expressed his gratitude to his team and fans for their positivity and energy. You could hear in his voice how hard it has been on him not winning but still turning up daily and competing despite not winning. This win is a celebration to dogged determination and dedication to Formula 1 (F1) and motor racing. Lewis explained it would have been easy to have given up but he has pushed through and secured another win making this his 104 Grand Prix win to date. Next year Lewis will be 40 years old and moves to Scuderia Ferrari in hope to secure his 8th world championship. The lessons I learned from this F1 race: 1. Losses done make you a loser if you keep going. A win is around the corner. 2. It’s easy to give up but keeping going will make us more successful than those who gave up. 3. We can’t be successful alone, we need family, a great team and our own true grit. 4. We must remember our mountain top experiences to take us through our deep dark valleys. 5. Give credit where credit is due. 6. Win graciously and remain humble. 7. Remember your loyal follower/supporters they make such a difference. 8. Turn up daily, each day is full of opportunities and might be the beginning of something special. Did you see the race, what were your takeaways? #success #F1 #lewishamilton #mentalhealth #truegrit #formula1 #formulaone #Mercedes #Ferrari *Image courtesy of SKY News App

Hamilton made a shocking switched to Ferrari. But in the 2000s , Ferrari wanted Valentino Rossi to partner Michael Schumacher. With a detuned F1 car, he was just .7s slower than Schumacher himself. Valentino Rossi is a 9 Time Champion in MotoGP, the pinnacle of bike racing. In 2004, Ferrari invited him to test an F1 car “just for fun” where he used Schumacher's helmet to hide his identity. You’d rarely see bikers switch to cars, but Rossi was fiercely quick. After just 3 testings, Ferrari let him drive the official F1 preseason testing in 2006. He was on track with Schumacher, Alonso, Rosberg, Button. They gave him a detuned car. His lap time? 1m12.362s Schumacher’s lap time? 1m11.640s Less than a second split the two. So Ferrari began bargaining. Rossi was to drive in Minardi, a lower team powered by Ferrari’s engine. And if he did well, he’d get the promotion to Ferrari itself. Rossi thought long and hard, even continuing to test F1 cars until 2010. But his heart was set on bikes, where he won two more titles. Do you think Rossi could potentially defeat the greats? Let me know in the comments and follow for more. . . . #valentino #rossi #motorsports #motogp #formula1 #f1 #lewishamilton #ferrari #testing

With the 2023 Formula 1 season coming to an end in Abu Dhabi, many people’s attention are now focused on the beginning of 2024. Red Bull and Max Verstappen dominated the season, with a few teams, including McLaren and Ferrari, beginning to make improvements to their cars toward the conclusion. After its present title sponsorship expires in 2024, Alfa Romeo will have a new name. Before becoming the Audi works team in 2026, the team is anticipated to rebrand itself as the Sauber brand in 2024. In 2024, Red Bull’s junior squad AlphaTauri will likewise alter their name. They intend to go back to using their former Toro Rosso moniker, which is non-branded. There are rumors that the squad may now be known as Racing Bulls, even though the rebranding has not yet been confirmed. Even though there aren’t many significant changes for 2024, the championship will have its greatest year ever thanks to a brand-new, record-breaking 24-race schedule. https://lnkd.in/dz264vDh
