RISE is pleased to announce the early delivery of North Village at Jacksonville State University. This 515-bed, P3 development was originally scheduled for an Aug 1, 2024 delivery. This residence hall was an answer to the need created by Jacksonville State University’s unprecedented recent growth. It is the first new housing added to the rapidly growing campus since 2010. The four-story building, which provides 515 beds in two-bedroom, two-bathroom, double-occupancy suites, is a modern reiteration of the campus’s Gothic red-brick architecture. The complex features a multi-purpose lounge space, private and group study areas, conference and media rooms, a laundry, a large common green, and a convenience store. North Village’s early completion is the result of a highly collaborative, fast-track P3 process between Jax State and RISE. Jeremy Doss, RISE SVP of Development, shared, “Less than 23 months ago, Jacksonville State University engaged RISE Real Estate to develop, design, permit and guarantee a GMP budget and 8/1/24 turnkey delivery of the 515-bed North Village community. We’re proud to announce that the assignment has been completed early and under budget. “We commend our team and project partners for this record-setting project execution and thank JSU and the JSU Foundation for placing their trust for this aggressive and highly specialized undertaking in us.” RISE is grateful to have delivered this transformative project alongside our wonderful architect and general contractor partners: Niles Bolton Associates and Choate Construction Company.
