#Chevening Scholarship applications are now officially open! Eligibility criteria is an undergraduate degree and 2 years of work experience. Deadline to apply is November 5th. This is an amazing opportunity to do a fully-funded masters program from the UK. I will be taking essay review requests from LinkedIn connections until October 22nd. This is a hard deadline and I will NOT be accepting any review requests on LinkedIn after that. If you would like me to review your essays, please send a DM. But before you do, please note the following things: 1. Please don't ask me how to apply, the Chevening website has ALL the relevant information. 2. Please don't send me screenshots of the application portal and ask me 'what do I do next'. I'm sure you all can figure out your way around an application portal. 3. I do not review essays for a living so if you are sharing your essays with me for review, don't message me the very next day asking for updates. I do have a full-time job so I only review essays on weekends (this applies to all other Chevening alumni who are reviewing essays). 4. If you are sharing your essays with Hafsa Khatib or any one at Project EduConnect for review, then no need to share them with me as I can assure you their and my feedback will be the same (theirs might be better). 5. I do not charge anything (except your prayers and good wishes). Please don't offer me money to give more time to your essays or write them for you (I strongly believe anyone who does not write their essays themselves does not deserve to get the scholarship). 6. I will not share my essays with you until I see a first draft of your essays (some people have previously copied my essays word for word, which itself is insulting enough of my time and efforts, and then shared them with me for review thinking I'm stupid enough not to recognize my own writing). I will be re-sharing some old posts in the coming days with detailed advice for applicants on how to go about writing the 4 essays. All the best to everyone who plans to apply!

What is your current highest level of education? 2. What degree are you applying for scholarship to study for? 3. What scholarship are you intending to apply for ? 4. How many years have you been in formal employment? 5. What course do you intend to study? 6. Why do you want to study that particular course? 7. Do you intend to pursue a Masters or P.hD degree in the future? 8. Apart from your academic interests, do you have other interests that are complementary to the course you are interested in? After you provide me answers to these questions then I'll be able to advise you better. Transnational joint education provision — education jointly developed and delivered by two or more #highereducation institutions in different countries — has emerged as a desired experience for many students, a key priority of several institutions, and a site of innovation. The strategic importance of this topic on a European level is one of the reasons it was selected for the 2023 EUA Learning & Teaching Thematic Peer Group entitled “Challenges and enablers in designing transnational joint education provision”. The group’s findings are compiled in this report, which outlines the group’s conceptual understanding of the term, benefits and challenges of engaging in #transnational joint #education provision, and recommendations geared towards higher education leadership, staff members, as well as national and regional-level governments.
