Between 2019 and 2021 in New Mexico alcohol related deaths increased by 31% and drug overdoses increased by 68% yet the department of health is spending their funding on a marketing campaign for gun control. 54% of the deaths you referenced were suicides yet the department of health is invested in gun control rather than you know substance abuse and mental health, things that are within their scope. This seems like political pandering rather than the departments mission of a healthier New Mexico.
