Canadian 🇨🇦 Mining ⛏️ News Noble Mineral Exploration (TSXV: NOB) Announces Canada Nickel Company (TSXV: CNC) Exercising its Option on Noble’s Mann Township Property Highlights - Canada Nickel is exercising its option to earn an 80% of the Mann Township mining claims (~11,000 ha) with Noble retaining a 20% interest, - The property Includes Mann Northwest, Central and Southeast properties that cover a combined 25 km strike length of nickel-bearing ultramafic rocks, - Northwest and Central will advance to resource delineation programs while Southeast will be drilled for the first time, all during the 2024 exploration season. The option terms included: (i) Exploration expenditures of $1.7 million on the Property (completed), (ii) Cash payment to Noble of $350,000 (made), (iii) Annual cash payments to Noble of $100,000 (payments are current), (iv) Underlying NSR rights to previous claim optionors and to Noble (to be registered). Silver North Resources Ltd. (TSX-V:SNAG, OTCQB:TARSF) has outlined its exploration plans in Canada's Yukon Territory for 2024 amid a surging industrial demand for silver. In an update, the Canadian company said it will get to work on its flagship Haldane Silver Property in the Keno Hill district and its Tim silver property, which is currently under option to Coeur Mining (NYSE:CDE).   The Haldane property is set for a comprehensive six-hole diamond drilling program in 2024. via Proactive Torque Metals has established a “substantial” initial exploration target for the New Dawn Lithium Project, which is just 600 metres east of the active Bald Hill #Lithium-#Tantalum Mine operated by Mineral Resources Ltd. The conceptual target of 8-14 million tonnes grading 1.0-1.2% lithium oxide (Li2O) highlights the potential for continued mineralisation along the New Dawn trend and guides #TOR toward an initial mineral resource estimate. What’s more, the JORC 2012-compliant exploration target only encompasses 40% of two development-ready #mining licences, with scope for expansion as it excludes other prospective areas within the leases and in surrounding tenements. B2Gold in new Namibia gold resource discovery B2Gold Corp. says exploration drilling results at the Otjikoto Mine's Antelope deposit in Namibia, yielded positive results, indicating significant potential for the development of a new underground mine. The miner’s Chief Executive Officer, Clive Johnson, said the positive findings from the Antelope deposit, which includes the Springbok and Oryx Zones, indicate a significant opportunity for expanding gold production in the region. "These positive drill results from the Antelope deposit indicate there is potential for a possible underground development to supplement the processing of stockpiles through 2031, with the goal of increasing Otjikoto gold production levels to over 100,000 ounces per year from 2026 through 2031," he said. Despite the new findings, the phased closure of its Otjikoto Mine due to limited gold deposits in its open pit mine will commence during the first quarter of 2024 and will not be affected. ExploreCo will control ~1,989 mining claims totaling over 42,000 ha and will include Reaume, Mann and Newmarket Townships as well as McCool, Moody, Galna and other properties currently held by Canada Nickel. Noble will vend its interest in Project 81, together with the right to acquire surface rights over Project 81. For properties transferred from Noble to Canada Nickel, Noble will retain a 5-year exploration right to any non-nickel exploration target therein. This 5-year exploration right will be subject to an annual exploration right thereafter upon both parties’ consent. This new tenement, named ‘Prince of Wales’, extends the company's control over the Ida Fault to more than 100 kilometres. The acquisition strategically adjoins the existing Destiny Project, bolstering St George's position in the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia. #Bougainville #News ABG grants Exploration Licence to BCL Exciting developments are set to happen in the Bougainville Mining sector following the ABG President’s announcement today of the granting of Exploration Licence EL01 over the Panguna former Special Mining Lease (SML) area to Bougainville Copper Ltd (BCL). EL01 is an exploration license, initiating advanced stage pre-feasibility and feasibility exploration activities for the Panguna Project. While this isn't a mining license, it's a key step toward overcoming obstacles hindering economic progress. The mining development stage will follow a separate application and approval process, spanning several years. The grant of EL01 to BCL marks a significant milestone that will finally settle the longstanding court proceedings between ABG and BCL.
