You may have heard that geothermal heating and cooling is a fantastic choice for residences, but did you know that geothermal is scalable to commercial buildings as well? These systems have become a popular choice for commercial buildings due to their extremely efficient climate control capabilities. They have minimal environmental impact, produce no greenhouse gas emissions, and require little maintenance compared to conventional HVAC systems. “We heard the proposal, we saw that the energy benefits and cost savings would far outweigh what we were doing,” stated Mayor Kevin Peterson of Depew, NY while discussing why the town chose geothermal heating for Fireman's Park Pavilion. If you’re interested in learning more about the installation process and geothermal systems work, we encourage you to join our free geothermal webinar on April 25th from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm. Bravo - It is a strategic focus leveraging the benefits of Geothermal technology that benfits NOCO customers on a reoccurring monthly basis plus with longterm maintenance costs - all good!
Bobbie, I heard a long time ago that mixed alcohols could be used as a heat transfer fluid in geothermal systems. This means that if carbon discards could be gassified and then changed via thermochemistry and a catalyst, waste could become a part of the geothermal economy. I would like to know more, so I contacted a company in the sector but haven't heard back. Do you know about this possibility?
