𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻.. ..Malmö does 𝗻𝗼𝘁 stay in Malmö 😁 ! 💡 I wanted to end this Friday on a good note by sharing some great stuff from the NIELS meeting & the Nordic Center for Sustainable Healthcare (NCSH) conference that took place this week: 🎤𝗗𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘀 & 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀: Hundreds of suppliers, providers, and facilitators prioritized Sustainability this week— all with great intentions to enable sustainable healthcare 🙂 🌎 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: Interest stretched far beyond the Nordics, with participation from Asia, America, the UN, and WHO.. The more the merrier (and easier!) 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 ❤️ 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Recycling ♻️of hazardous medical waste is possible, reusable aprons is a fact, reduced plastic waste with right design, ESG dashboards & CEO engagement at hospital departments driving change, ”beefed up” sustainability organisations and more.. 🛤 𝗜𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗪𝗮𝘆: Some companies are bravely taking the front seat, eco labelled (type 1) catheters being one example now on the market.. 🔔 𝗠𝘆 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲 & 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗿𝘀: Applaud your competitors who are brave (and smart 🤔 ) enough to take the lead. Instead of taking them down, get inspired and join them in the sustainability race 🏃♀️ 💰 𝗕𝘂𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀/𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗕𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀: Make this a priority. Share the investments required today for more sustainable products—it’s likely the brightest investment you’ll make if you think beyond next budget cycles 📓 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀: Engage (more) in those meetings!
