📢 New Study Highlights Unmet Needs in Ulcerative Colitis (UC) Care 📢 https://lnkd.in/gaEfPZwj A recent study published in Digestive and Liver Disease has shed light on the significant disease burden faced by patients with ulcerative colitis (UC), particularly those experiencing bowel urgency (BU). The findings reveal that over half of UC patients (57%) struggle with BU, which greatly impacts their quality of life, work productivity, and daily functioning. This study highlights an important truth we see every day at SonarMD: The burden of moderate to severe UC, especially in patients with BU, is high and that these patients deserve more than symptom management—they need personalized, continuous support that addresses these challenges early and effectively. That’s where #SonarMD steps in. Our #holistic platform ensures scalable, continuous patient monitoring and gives providers timely insights to adjust care pathways in real-time. By partnering with health plans and clinicians, we aim to be the first line of prevention—helping patients live healthier lives by addressing unmet needs like BU head-on. Together, we can transform digestive health for the better! #UlcerativeColitis #PatientCare #BowelUrgency #DigestiveHealth #ValueBasedCare #SonarMD #HealthcareInnovation
