https://lnkd.in/gnQZBJ-G The Pentagon is rushing to expand its capacity to wage war in space, convinced that rapid advances by China and Russia in space-based operations pose a growing threat to U.S. troops and other military assets on the ground and U.S. satellites in orbit.

Going from oversimplified models found in 100% of military doctrine to some geometrically unorthodox alternatives: considering the Mobius strip and the Klein bottle. Why? To bring forth new theorization, we must also critically examine our core models (cubes, triads, loops, spheres, arrows leading to a single desired end-state, etc.) and shake things up by challenging those otherwise unquestioned assumptions on how to understand complex warfare. Sev1Tech is pleased to share that Michael Fry, general manager, Aerospace Defense, was featured by VMblog in an article titled “A More Interconnected Department of Defense is Essential to 2024 Mission Success.” In the article, Michael shared his predictions for the Department of Defense in 2024. Michael pulls from Sev1Tech’s work to deploy a meshONE-Terrestrial data transport network to the U.S. Air and Space Force and discusses how IT modernization efforts are expected to increase across the Department of Defense. He also talked about the data challenges that come as military operations continue to digitize and how investing in proper training and education is crucial so these technologies can be properly maintained.
