Lockheed Martin's F-35 Program - Soaring to new heights 🚀 Lockheed Martin Corp.'s Aeronautics business segment has just secured a game-changing $138.5 million contract for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter aircraft. The Naval Air Systems Command's trust in this program speaks volumes about its significance in today's defense landscape. Valued at $138.5 million, this contract will run until December 2026. Lockheed is set to acquire special tools and test equipment to support production, retrofit modifications, and flight test instrumentation for the F-35 jets. Serving the U.S. Air Force, Marine Corps, Navy, Foreign Military Sales, and non-U.S. Department of Defense participants, this deal's impact will resonate globally. The moment has finally arrived, and it's nothing short of unbelievable. What many deemed impossible, Marines like Robert Boyles FORREST ELGE Leroy Forbes, PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, LSSGB Daniel Katzman Zachary Zyburt Alfred Negron II Will Wyper Josh Gordon and numerous others turned into reality. I’m so proud to share that as one of the main planners for this mission, I’ve witnessed an incredible journey come to fruition. In 2022, 7th ESB got tasked with building a runway with $0 in funding, no transportation, told to bring our equipment from California, no local government approval, and zero environmental studies done. After over two years of relentless grind and unwavering determination, our blood, sweat, and tears have paid off. This project fills me with immense pride, proving that grit and unity can conquer any obstacle. Marines recently landed a KC-130J Super Hercules on Peleliu’s renovated WWII airfield in the Republic of Palau, marking its first military use in decades. This engineering project underscores the strategic importance of upgrading infrastructure in the Pacific, boosting our operational reach amidst rising tensions with the PRC. As we move forward, let's carry this momentum and continue to push boundaries. The Pacific holds vast potential, and it's up to us to unlock it. #FunsuitFriday If pulling the nerves of the neck and arm is an injury, why do we do it “to get better?” Aircrew: when we bend the head to the side, the nerve membrane deforms and we 1. Don’t feel pain in that position 2. Are causing the membrane to not be able to send power to the muscle 3. Are making the nerve more painful in the next 10-20 min. We cannot cause a nerve or muscle to lengthen. The nervous system is tensioned and anchored. Nerve glides will be resisted by these anchor points. Paradigm shift: go back to spine basics and strengthen the neck in neutral and turn on deep neck extensors and flexors. Hold a plank on arms or modified knee and elbow plank with the back of the skull floating to the ceiling, eyes down. Do this after flights where you hurt.
