Dear Northop Grumman,
I am proud of the joint projects you announced with Ukraine in the joint production of munitions and the "development of a special chemicals plant."
I am an experienced project manager and engineer and have good experience in the implementation of chemical production in Ukraine and the organization of production projects.
Who could I contact for possible interaction or work in your projects in Ukraine?
I will be useful!
Thank you for your support!

I’m delighted to have an article in the July 2024 issue of Aerospace Manufacturing, and I am looking forward to the Farnborough International Airshow; July 22 to 26.
My article, entitled “Meeting High Expectations”, answers the question: what is the difference between a distributor and a value-added reseller (VAR), and just what is the nature of that ‘value’?
You can view my article here: https://lnkd.in/gwk_P4Ya
Many thanks to Mike Richardson for the opportunity of contributing editorial.
So, distributor or VAR? Solid State Disks Limited is, without doubt, the latter and we are providing industrial grade memory products to some of the biggest names in aerospace and defence. These products not only include memory ICs, modules and drives from our trusted suppliers but also our solid-state-based drives that are being used to replace yesteryear drives (such as floppy disks drives and early generation hard disk drives).
Indeed, because we’re an OEM of products, we employ a number of highly capable and experience engineers. And as a buyer of components ourselves, we appreciate the importance of partnering with the most capable suppliers.
If you are attending the airshow and would like to meet up to discuss memory products, I am there on Tuesday, July 23. Please message me through LinkedIn before close of business on Friday, July 19.

I spotted this photo on a post about manufacturing and I had to have a chuckle.
The final design of the GME for GBUs on the F-35 was a source of some conjecture (and no small amount of frustration) many years ago, when we were trying to design facilities for the new platform.
“There is some guy, somewhere, who might have designed a prototype but no one has seen it and no one knows what it looks like”.
LOL
Australian Defence industry can do some very innovative things.
There are very smart people that can solve complex system and platform manufacturing and support problems.
As I tell clients - “We can engineer the hell out of anything”.
Work with consultants that understand Defence, understand Defence industry, know your kit and equipment and understand your business.
It makes a big difference.

Register on website: https://lnkd.in/e4jSqPxK
The goal of the GAIN Subcommittee is to provide a common distribution system standard for Airbus and Boeing multi- and single-aisle aircraft. These standards focus on communications protocols and messaging that are beneficial to the airlines, airframe manufacturers, and suppliers. This guidance and requirements are documented in ARINC Specification 810: Definition of Standard Interfaces for Galley Insert (GAIN) Equipment Physical Interfaces, ARINC Specification 812A: Standard Data Interface for Galley Insert (GAIN) Equipment, Part 1, CAN Communications, and ARINC Specification 812A: Standard Data Interface for Galley Insert (GAIN) Equipment, Part 2, CAN Communications, Verification, and System Test Guidance.

Over he last few decades, "counterfeit" parts, electronics and metals have been a persistent problem.
even a simple google search will reveal these. the govt has thee GIDEP programs for reporting these. there are DFAR clauses that restrict procuring these, (sorry for the acronyms ).
As a trained and practicing specialist in such matters, i have seen that In such instances, hardware has been. cleared based on risk (technical, schedule and cost) assessments .
in this case, the FAA, must have been part of past amd current dispositions. with the FAA delegating Oversight to Boeing, should i be surprised.
titanium shortage is an issue too.
finally, there have been many examples of recalls and fixes as a result of each discoveries.
"know your supply chain" has been the mantra but you also need talented and engineers who can understand amd visit those suppliers.
my positive takeaway from this revelation is that this is in the public discussion now, in the past these were hush hush.

This YouTube video is a little dated since it was posted a year ago but definitely still holds true.
The Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II is surrounded by controversy regarding not only it's potential capabilities in battle, but also its affordability. Taken out of context, this is true - however, in today's episode, we take a sledgehammer to those allegations in order to prove that the F35 is more capable than you'd think.

Good summary: “Boeing’s marathon-like push to earn approval for its 737-7 likely no longer hinges on demonstrating that the model meets all required regulatory standards but instead on convincing the agency that a known noncompliance should be permitted for a few years while the OEM develops a permanent fix.”
When people question about the safety risk here, they evaluate the condition alone. We always check for combinations of failures; because 2 (or more) failures will cause Catastrophic event. (Single failures leading to Cat were already eliminated in the design).
If one failure is already given, and some of the potential second failures are un-announced, that is the risk in our world.
Read the full article to see which additional failures could take it to Catastrophic results.
(Boeing have been fyling with exemptions since 2019 on different systems)
