🌿 Fueling the Future with a new article: The Shift to #AlternativeNaphtha🌿 In the second part of the three-part article series by Michael Carus and Gillian Tweddle for CHEManager, the focus is on the production and use of alternative naphtha. The first article introduced the concept of ‘alternative naphtha’ as a substitute for fossil raw materials in refineries and steam crackers. 💦 New factsheet available! 💦 The #HorizonEU #WaterProofProject explains that #WasteWaterTreatment not only protects health and environment but also supports a #CircularEconomy in Europe and beyond. The factsheets cover all aspects, from the upcoming challenges of increasing industrial wastewater production and #ClimateChange to how wastewater treatment can become sustainable, EU legislations and the solutions offered by WaterProof. The objective of the project is a technology resulting in greenhouse gas reduction based on #CO2Utilisation, replacement of fossil feedstock and industrial electrification. This way, WaterProof enables the closing of the waste(water) carbon loop and the shift from fossil to #renewable carbon sources.
