Challenge to all LAA Alumni as you’re current chair I’m call on all past and current class of 2024 to have most classmates register for this event. We are looking for a great opportunity to network and have fun. GOLFERS: - For golfers at any level, there will be a 9-hole outing followed by Happy Hour. - TIME: Driving range opens at 2 pm. Shotgun Start at 3 pm (sharp). - This is an LAA 30th Anniversary event. The Chain - the new short course at Streamsong, is no pitch and putt. Just ask Ben Crenshaw, who, along with Bill Coore designed the course to play like one of the big courses, but just at a shorter distance. It may be the most fun of them all. The do’s and don’ts of corporate golf: 1 - If you’re the first person to putt, don’t walk off the green. Make sure you’re the one to pick up the flag stick and replace it in the hole once everyone else finishes. 2 - Don’t keep playing if you've hit double par–make sure you pick up for that hole and stay considerate of the pace of play for the reminder of the group. 3 - Fill your cart partners divot, its a small act of kindness that goes a long way. The Wall Street Journal highlights the surge in off-course play, especially at venues like Topgolf and simulators. These spaces offer flexibility, solid F&B, and cater to all ages, contributing to the game's growth and introducing newcomers to golf. With Topgolf expanding to over 90 locations by year's end, and considering my journey starting when we were venue #26 in 2016, it's incredible to witness this rapid evolution.
