Alinea Group are thrilled to be part of one of the most transformative projects in South Australia’s metro coastline, the renewal of Jetty Road, Glenelg. Initiated by the City of Holdfast Bay, the Transforming Jetty Road project is the largest single urban renewal project ever undertaken by City of Holdfast. As one of SA’s most loved coastal destinations, and catering to over a million visitors a year, the $40m renewal of Jetty Road, is much more than just a facelift; it’s about reimagining the heart of South Australia’s largest coastal retail, cultural and entertainment destination.    As Commercial & Retail Advisor for the project, Alinea is supporting Council to ensure national and global best practice in transforming high streets is applied to the project. Key areas of our focus includes setting the platform for: ▪ Jetty Road to respond to compelling retail market opportunities, unlocking maximum value for the 330 existing businesses along the 1km high street and driving even stronger visitation growth.  ▪ A nationally leading public realm that creates an even more pedestrian-centric high street and a space that will be even more loved by locals, and Unlocking greater private investment along the high street. In contrast to many high street renewal projects, which leave private sector to 'fill in the blanks’, Council has proactively sought input to establish clear strategies for catalysing greater private sector investment.  ▪ Combined, this holistic approach to renewing Jetty Road, ensures that the $40m investment will be multiplied many times over in the private investment and economic benefits that flow through as a result.    We look forward to supporting Council with this exciting legacy project, ensuring Glenelg remains the premier South Australian coastal destination for tourists and locals for many generations to come.    #JettyRoad #UrbanRenewal #SouthAustralia #CityofHoldfast #MayorAmandaWilson https://lnkd.in/gZ4M6vht
