The Ideal Candidate will have experience in high throughput sample processing and liquid handling system. The candidate will have a sound working knowledge and trouble shooting skills in at least some of the following techniques: Cell culture, cell transfection, cell transduction. Lentiviral production. Cell proliferation assays, kill curve assays. Cell lysis, protein preparation, western blotting. Antibody assay using flow cytometry. DNA/RNA isolation from cultured cells and tissue samples. cDNA synthesis, RT-PCR, q-PCR, multiplex PCR amplification. Molecular cloning, ligation, bacteria transformation. Animal handling, surgical procedure, tissue isolation and processing. Next generation sequencing sample preparation is a plus. Implemented procedures necessary for routine H&E slides, special stains, immunohistochemistry and other technical procedures are required. Must be able to learn new techniques as required by the scope of the research.
