Last week, we were so proud to host a VAMOS/Mandy’s Farm program field trip at our South Valley Branch! The field trip was a great experience for participants, who got a chance to meet our team, learn what tellers do, check out our ATMs and drive through services, and much more! We are proud to partner with VAMOS/ Mandy’s Farm year-round, and Nusenda’s Financial Capability team continues to advocate for their financial education programming series for young adults aged 14-23 with developmental disabilities. Learn more about the great work VAMOS does at mandysfarm.org!

If recruitment, retention, graduation, and alumni engagment are important for colleges and universities, it is essential that they provide the funds to support men of color programs. How do administrators expect for these programs to produce substantial results without the needed resources, especially financial, to make it happen?
I am working on a project, and from our survey data nationally, only 47% of men of color programs have recurring financial resources. If we want to support/increase retention and graduation rates for men of color, we need to *invest* money to support the *people/programs* that empower men of color.
