As I wrote my end of year reflections yesterday, it was great to look back and see all of my achievements in just 12 months. I work with a great team who all want to make a difference and are passionate about employee engagement. We have worked on several activities that have all helped improve collaboration, share information and given employees an opportunity to express their views. I have built an evaluation framework that will help us understand our learner experience and measure the ROI on our learning solutions. I am looking forward to continuing to roll this out in the new financial year. My final reflection is on recognition. I have never worked for a business that gives so much thanks and praise for the work that you do. It might seem like a small thing. But it really does make a difference. You feel appreciated and empowered to achieve great things. In 12 months I have received: 25x Rec-ignitions 2x Creators’ Kudos Awards 2x Pride of People Nominations(1x shortlisted) 1x Exceptional Creator Award When those emails pop up “You have been recognised” or the teams message pops up from my line manager “I have good news” and I’m thinking “oh lord, I’ve done it again!” Nothing beats the feeling of proudness, the little flutter of excitement and a boost of determination to keep going! The point of this post… we all have days where we feel a bit “Monday morning” or we might feel stuck in a rut, like we aren’t moving forward. But look back over the last year and see what you have achieved, what have been your “halo” moments? If that doesn’t make you feel proud or motivated, then don’t be afraid to seek new opportunities. It’s scary sometimes, but absolutely worth it. And would I recommend JLR as a great place to work? Absolutely 🌟 Have a great Easter break and achieve the exceptional in FY25.

March 1st is Employee Appreciation Day. Everyday should be employee (and is) appreciation day. A company does not run well without a dedicated, loyal and trustworthy team. I see something everyday that allows me to say I am grateful for the team that surrounds me. I do know that small things (like recognition gifts) help. :) #brandedmerchandise #employeeappreciation #employeegifts #employeerecognition #gacosourcing

A recent report from TalentLMS found that 61% of the workforce doesn’t get regular appreciation from their supervisors Is your team in that 61%? In our humble opinion, employee appreciation should be a year-round activity! Sometimes, all it takes to make an employee realize they are appreciated is a gesture of acknowledgment from a manager or supervisor—an award, card, or gift. So if you haven't shown your employees the recognition they deserve lately, here's what you're gonna want to do. 1️⃣ Steal this email template: Hey [Employee's Name], I hope your day is going well! I just wanted to take a moment to express our gratitude for all the effort you've been putting into [company name]. Your dedication truly stands out, and we're incredibly thankful to have you as part of our team. As a small token of our appreciation, we've prepared something special just for you. We hope you enjoy it! Thanks again, [Your Name] 2️⃣ Use this promo code and let them pick something special from Loop & Tie 🎁: APPRECIATE10 for 10% off your next 10 gifts now through March 31st to celebrate the wonderfolks in your orbit!

A few days ago, I came across a LinkedIn post highlighting an employee's exceptional performance at a hotel across the country. Inspired by what I read, I decided to reach out to the manager to learn more about their employee recognition program. It was clear that this company truly values their employees, seeing them as some of their greatest assets. During our conversation, the manager expressed how he has been looking for something more meaningful than traditional gifts cards or trophies. I proposed Moments Worth Remembering. By the end of the call, we agreed to collaborate on celebrating all their upcoming employee milestones for the upcoming quarter. 👉 For business owner: How do you celebrate your employees' achievements? 👉 For employees: How would you like to be recognized? #Workanniversary #retirement #promotion #topperformer #achievement #milestone #work #culture
