I met Johnny back in the early 1970’s when I first went to Morgan City and was privileged to meet him numerous times since then as a team member in Oceaneering and later as a competitor. Johnny was always friendly and professional. He will be missed.

I met Johnny in 1981 and I am forever thankful for our relationship and friendship through the years. His kindness and willingness to help me in this industry and I continue to share some of the lessons he has taught me. A great friend and mentor!

He is still alive in each of the organization member. Great men never die but go to rest as the Journey was really deep.

I knew him well, as a competitor, customer and after retirement as a friend. First meeting him at World Wide (I believe) in 1967. He was one of the good guys in our industry
