Intracranial hypotension occurs when there is insufficient pressure in the head, often resulting from a cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) leak. There are two main types of CSF leaks: cranial and spinal. Cranial leaks may present as clear fluid leaking from the ears or nose, which can have a sweet taste. In contrast, spinal leaks typically manifest as headaches that worsen upon standing or during activities that increase pressure, such as coughing or straining. These headaches are linked to changes in vacuum pressure within the cranial cavity. The 20-20-20 rule is an eye exercise that is performed to help prevent eye strain by giving the eyes a break and having them change focus. The symptoms and side effects of eye strain include dry eyes, trouble concentrating, blurred vision and headaches. The rule says that for every 20 minutes spent looking at a screen, a person should look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds. Following the rule is a great way to remember to take frequent breaks. This should reduce eye strain caused by looking at digital screens for too long. #OSZ #ophthalmology #EyeHealth #EyeStrain #dryeye

Great post, Brian Shafer Glaucoma and cataracts are indeed two critical conditions with different impacts on vision. It's a reminder of how essential regular eye exams are in detecting glaucoma early, especially since symptoms can be so subtle. Cataracts, though more gradual, also deserve attention as they can severely impair vision over time. Raising awareness about these differences is key to better eye health! 👁️ #VisionHealth #GlaucomaAwareness #CataractCare #CompleteVision
Glaucoma and cataracts are two common eye conditions, but they affect your vision in different ways. Glaucoma involves damage to the optic nerve and often has subtle symptoms that are hard to detect, making regular eye exams crucial. Cataracts, on the other hand, involve a clouding of the eye's lens and typically develop slowly, often related to aging. Both conditions can significantly impact your vision if left untreated. Understanding the differences and knowing the signs is key. If you are struggling with either condition and seek help, don't hesitate to call us today!

Understanding Glaucoma: The TOPG test is a crucial tool in diagnosing glaucoma, combining Tonometry, Ophthalmoscopy, Perimetry, and Gonioscopy. These tests together assess eye pressure, examine the optic nerve, measure field of vision, and inspect the angle of the eye drainage. Knowing these can help catch glaucoma early, potentially saving your vision. Stay informed and proactive about your eye health. #GlaucomaAwareness #EyeHealth #IGEHRC #IGeye

In other words… If the bones in your neck lose their innate curve and become straight or even a reserve curve… this creates more strain and stress in your neck … which is not ideal. Often this loss or change to the neck curve is mentioned in X-rays or MRIs… but the patient is not told what impact that can have for them now and in the future. Your pelvic floor health isn’t just about your bladder. It is also dependent on the structural alignment of your entire pelvic girdle. Your tailbone, aka coccyx, for example has a direct connection through the dura to your brain. Dura is like a fascial hose around your spinalcord that ends at your tailbone, and continues all the way up the spine and then wraps around the brain. Hence why your misaligned tailbone can cause brain fog or just literal feelings of something that isn't right. Yes, we can NONINVASIVELY adjust your tailbone. You will never regret gifting yourself the freedom of having your entire spine move freely again. Tailbone misalignment symptoms: Brain fog Low back pain Groin pain Constipation Painful periods Difficulty sleeping Hurts to sit Neck pain Knee pain Etc... You don't have to live like this. Looking forward to helping you feel your best. #Studio @movementtutor.peggy #Photographer Elise Dextraze #tailbone #Pelvichealth #PelvicFloorDysfunction #posturalalignment #pelvicfloorhealth #ManualOsteopath #pilates #Hypopressives #tailbonepain #pelvicpain #painfulperiods
