Ok, I promise: last post about the trip to Guadalajara! Let's close with my favorite sports team: Chivas de Guadalajara. ( I had the opportunity to go to the inauguration game two weeks ago) As a context, Chivas is the greatest team in Mexico (ok, some other fans may jump at me now). 2 reasons why they are great: 1 - They play just with Mexican players (well, one of the last additions is questionable) 2 - They produce most of their talent in-house instead of getting external players 2 reasons why they have not won a championship in the last 7 years: 1 - They play just with Mexican players (by policy, they don't have access to foreign talent) 2 - They produce most of their talent in-house (which means they don't rely on external talent) 🤔 How in the world relates to Software Engineering and QA in your company? Wanting to do everything in-house and grow internal talent has a lot of merits! But be aware that it may take you longer and more resources to get to the goal (vs. bringing experts to help in the ramp-up and learning curve)

Last night's performance by Roberto Vecchioni and Alfa, during Sanremo, was one of those that attracted the most attention. On the one hand the experience and generosity of a giant, on the other the freshness and eagerness to learn. The one gave something to the other. In art as in work and life, it is always nice how each can draw on the other's knowledge. In the rapidly evolving world of work, collaboration across generations becomes an essential bridge. On one side, the experience and wisdom of the older generation, on the other, the freshness and innovation of the young. It's an opportunity to learn from each other, enriching the workplace with a unique blend of knowledge and perspectives. Continuous learning and skill exchange lie at the heart of this collaboration.
