NovoNutrients has just raised $18 million in Series A funding for their unique carbon capture technology. 💵 The company is developing Novotein, a sustainable protein produced from CO2 emissions. With applications in pet food, aquaculture, and plant-based alternatives, Novotein offers a cost-effective and environmentally friendly protein solution. 🌱 This tech could address both global food security and large-scale decarbonization.  🌎 This round was led by Woodside Energy and CM Venture Capital. Circularity for the win! ♻ We are proud to tell that Chempolis has been selected as one of Europe’s top 30 Circular Solutions for Nature by the Finnish Innovation Fund Sitra. The list is a part of Sitra’s open call for applications, where they were looking for the most interesting European companies with circular economy solutions tackling biodiversity loss. The selected companies represent pioneering examples on how businesses can combine nature benefits with new business opportunities. The list was officially announced today in the World Circular Economy Forum 2024, taking place in Brussels on the 15th and 16th of April. Infrapar Sustainability has formalized a strategic partnership with AGBI this morning, aiming to establish an Investment Fund dedicated to the acquisition of degraded lands. The recovery of these lands will be carried out through regenerative agricultural initiatives. This joint venture will combine sustainable agricultural practices with projects related to carbon credits and other environmental commodities, with the aim of generating credits derived from agricultural practices that seek to restore and improve soil and environmental health.
