⚠ Junior Buyer
BTR Mediterranean New Material Technology is are looking for a motivated Junior Buyer to join our dynamic team.
✅️ Main Responsibilities:
Sourcing & Supplier Development:
➡️Develop new suppliers while maintaining strong relationships with existing ones.
➡️ Assess supplier qualifications, organize on-site audits, and manage a supplier database.
➡️ Ensure the company’s procurement standards and requirements are met.
Price Negotiation & Cost Control:
➡️ Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contractual clauses with suppliers.
➡️ Implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
Purchase Execution:
➡️ Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of products.
➡️ Inspect goods upon receipt to ensure they meet quality standards.
➡️ Manage invoices, payment processes, and input data into the inventory management system.
Contract Management:
➡️ Draft, negotiate, and finalize purchase contracts.
➡️ Ensure contracts comply with legal and internal requirements.
➡️ Monitor contract execution to ensure suppliers fulfill their commitments.
Supplier Performance Management:
➡️ Regularly evaluate supplier performance based on criteria such as punctuality, quality, and cost efficiency.
➡️ Implement corrective actions for underperforming suppliers and terminate contracts if necessary.
Procurement Issue Management:
➡️ Identify and resolve procurement-related issues, such as delivery delays, quality non-conformities, or disputes with suppliers.
➡️ Implement corrective measures to minimize production impact.
✅️ Desired Profile:
📕Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in management, commerce, logistics, or a related field.
💼 Experience: Entry-level, with less than one year of professional experience.
🛠 Technical Skills: Good understanding of procurement processes and supplier management tools.
📝 Interpersonal Skills:
➡️ Open-mindedness and the ability to work in a multicultural environment, understanding Chinese and Moroccan work dynamics.
➡️ Rigor, efficiency, and diligence to adapt to high-performance demands and meet team expectations.
➡️ Active listening skills to understand and meet stakeholder needs, considering cultural differences.
➡️ Patience and diplomacy to navigate complex situations and maintain harmonious relationships despite differing methods.
