🙅♀️I am trying so hard to write something positive and not too absolute to bring out the hypocrisy of the sentence "content that converts" because it conveniently overlooks the various touchpoints through which content or the value proposition must pass to convert. 💡We recently received an inquiry from a Dutch D2C brand. They were referred to us by someone in the US and decided to visited our website, received a message from our sales team that talked about our features, benefits, offers et.al, registered for our recent webinar titled "Love at Checkout" on LinkedIn aaaand finally got onboarded by our customer success team. 🧚While I have oversimplified the whole onboarding journey, the idea is to focus on leveraging the channels/mediums so to say and not just content. Focus on CLICKS not OPENS Shift your attention away from email open rates; instead, hone in on the CLICK. 🌞 But remember, don't mistake click-through rate for click rate. Click-through rate loses its reliability due to false Apple opens. Look at your click rate—the proportion of recipients clicking your email relative to total sends. Then, prioritize your CTC rate—Click to Conversion. If you're seeing plenty of clicks but no purchases, it could be a website or product issue rather than an email one.
