In the world of lifting operations, maintaining high standards is not just a matter of compliance; it's a crucial aspect of ensuring safety, efficiency, and reliability. Every operation demands a meticulous approach to prevent accidents, protect lives, and safeguard assets. This responsibility rests heavily on the shoulders of our riggers, who must possess not only technical skills but also significant experience and sound judgment. Recently, a very well-known company introduced a new tiered rigger system (Rigger 1, 2, and 3). While the intention behind this restructuring might be to streamline operations and create clear pathways for professional development, it has unfortunately led to a concerning trend: a notable portion of these positions are now being filled by individuals with insufficient experience. Experience in lifting operations cannot be underestimated. It's what enables riggers to foresee potential issues, make quick, informed decisions in high-pressure situations, and ensure that every lift is executed flawlessly. When we dilute this experience by filling critical roles with less seasoned personnel, we compromise the very standards that keep our operations safe. It's essential for companies, especially industry leaders, to prioritize comprehensive training and ensure that individuals in these pivotal roles have the requisite hands-on experience. Only by doing so can we uphold the standards that protect our workforce and maintain the integrity of our operations. Let's continue to advocate for high standards and push for changes that truly enhance the skills and safety of our teams. #LiftingOperations #SafetyFirst #IndustryStandards #RiggingSafety #ProfessionalDevelopment ---

Do you want to know the number one piece of feedback we hear most often from our clients? It's gonna sound silly. But here it is: WE SHOW UP. It seems simple, right? Showing up on-time ready to work for the job you've been hired to do? Sounds like a no-brainer. 💁♂️ But time and time again our clients tell us stories of being ghosted by other crane and rigging companies. They either never return their calls, never follow through with a proposal, or literally never show up when they're scheduled to. That will never happen with RigUpATL. We follow through every single time. It's just the way we do business. #followthrough #goodbusiness #rigging #craneservices #construction

Being a RIGGER part II There are several certain factors that must be taken into account when starting work to lift loads using lifting equipment. 1 and before any load lifting, a plan must be drawn up on the work to be carried out. 2 - The security team must be contacted so that they are also aware of the operations to be carried out and can therefore draw up a security plan in agreement with the work to be carried out. 3 - The team made up of lifting equipment operators and Riggers must be certified according to the law to carry out load lifting work, and must also be informed about the lifting plan as well as the plan indicated by the safety team. 4 - It is necessarily necessary to previously inspect all the tools necessary to execute the lifting plan, the lifting equipment must have its respective TCVT up to date. 5 - The atmospheric conditions must also be checked as well as all possible obstacles around the lifting equipment, previously removing any that are in the direction of transporting vertical loads. 6 - All communication equipment must also be tested so that there are no communication failures between everyone involved in the operation. I wish everyone a great day in complete safety.
