Despite immersing myself in the US healthcare system over the last few years, my accent very quickly gives me away I'm not originally from the US! I'm very proud to be presenting this year at HLTH USA, the pre-eminent global healthcare innovation conference, about the value of looking outside the US for healthcare innovation... maybe with a slight bias towards Australia 🇦🇺 Massive thank you to ANDHealth, Bronwyn Le Grice and Shaun McAlpine for making this happen. When we started Perx Health we were inspired to bring an outsiders' perspective to the intractable problem of healthcare engagement and adherence in chronic care. Many of our early team members were mobile game gurus, social media specialists and consumer promotions pros. As outsiders we applied strategies that we had seen work so effectively in other industries to help supposedly "disengaged" individuals engage with their health, build daily habits and stick to their treatment plans. The results have been game-changing with high-risk patients enrolling, engaging and sticking to our programs at rates that are magnitudes above typical digital health. As we grew we surrounded these engagement experts with a go-to-market team, advisors and investors that live and breathe healthcare. This has enabled us to navigate the complexities of landing large payer clients, demonstrating real-world value and proving our results empirically in clinical research. The combination of outsider perspective coupled with insider knowledge creates a force to be reckoned with. In many ways, it feels like our expansion from Australia to the US has had a similar dynamic. You clearly need in-market healthcare expertise to succeed in a system as complex as the US, and we've been incredibly lucky to have people from some of the largest US payers and digital health companies in the country join our team. However, in order to drive change and innovation in any company or industry you need people to be constantly asking the question "why do you do it this way?" That's a lot easier to embed as a cultural norm when you have people who have spent their entire lives in a different system that does things very differently. Our Australian team is constantly learning from our US team, and our US team is constantly learning from our Australian team. Those fresh perspectives make both sides of our business better, and encourages a culture of questioning the status quo. This creates better products, better programs, better experiences and better results for all our clients whether they're trying to drive "behavior" or "behaviour" change in their high-risk members. Airtree Brandon Capital Tenmile Giant Leap Bill Lucia Maria Perrin Shaun Larkin Mike Cantor, MD, JD Gene Huang
Next week our very own Scott Taylor will be on a panel discussion at HLTH USA. Scott, Drew Schiller of Validic and Lisa Suennen, GCB.D of AHA Ventures will be exploring the value of looking overseas for solutions to US healthcare challenges. Single-payer systems, different funding and regulatory environments, and hopefully koalas 🐨 will all get a look-in. 🕗 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM PDT 🌎 HLTH Vegas, Murano Room 3201AB Thank you to ANDHealth, Bronwyn Le Grice and Shaun McAlpine for this opportunity. #hlth #perxhealth #innovation #australia

President and CEO at the PAN Foundation | Dedicated to ensuring everyone has access to the healthcare they need
Stepping into a new year is exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming when thinking about all the work that’s needed in order to make an impact. I know from my early days as a CEO, without having intense focus and clarity, a list that’s too long can seem insurmountable and easily turn into your biggest hurdle to accomplishing your goals as an organization. So, when I sat down with our leadership team to zero in on how we’ll move the needle in patient support and advocacy this year, these were three key areas, among many, we believe will be critical: - Put patients first: We will continue to serve as the voice for all patients and aim to create equitable access to the care they need. We know this can only happen when we treat our patients the way we would want our loved ones to be treated. - Strengthen collaborations: We will deepen our partnerships with a variety of organizations, from local groups to national organizations, to amplify our impact and fight harder on behalf of patients, at both the community and national level. - Celebrate impact: We have always counted the wins, both large and small, because improving healthcare access, affordability, and equity for all is not a straight shot, nor is it a short journey. We will continue to track our progress to ensure transparency and share success stories that inspire and motivate. This year is another opportunity to bring about change for patients—and we’re excited to have you join us in this journey. Let’s go.

Sometimes, you’re like, “WTF?” Sometimes, you’re like, “Told you so.” And sometimes, you’re like, “Huh…” Today, we’re feeling a bit of all three. Why? Because when we reflect on our journey at Advize, it’s clear that we’ve earned a place among the top healthcare consulting firms out there. “WTF?” because it’s surreal to see how far we’ve come. The growth, the challenges we’ve faced, and the evolution we’ve undergone—it’s been quite a ride. “Told you so” because after years of hard work, dedication, and a relentless commitment to improving healthcare, we know we’ve made a real impact. We’ve stayed focused, pushed boundaries, and consistently delivered results that matter. “Huh…” because when we take a step back, we realize this recognition didn’t come from an external source but from the trust we’ve built with our clients and the outcomes we’ve achieved together. So yeah, today is one of those WTF/Told you so/Huh days for us as a team. And you know what? We’ll take it. Thank you to everyone at Advize and to our clients for believing in us and making this journey possible. #HealthcareConsulting #AdvizeHealth #Grateful #ToldYouSo #Teamwork #HealthcareInnovation #TheBestTeam #HealthcareCompliance

Senior Living Unicorn| Bridge the Gap Ambassador| Branding Enthusiast| Result Optimizer| Innovative Leader| Tech Fan| Community and Culture Synergizer
Incredibly proud of our team and the innovation we’ve brought to Senior Living! This is the first time I’ve seen a partner truly understand our world—what we do in Senior Living—and offer not just a solution, but the foundational solution. Sage is not an add-on. It’s a platform designed for the future of Senior Living. Unlike anything else out there, it leverages mission-critical systems to deliver data we’ve never had access to before. And let’s be clear: Sage is NOT an EHR. Speaking from my background as a caregiver and nurse, I can confidently say EHRs were never built for Assisted Living. Sure, people have tried to adapt, but the truth is they missed a key piece—care operations and the data behind it. We’re the first to recognize what’s truly missing. If you’re serious about transforming your business, I urge you—don’t get caught up in the checklist of features you think you need. Instead, take a hard look at your operations. What are you missing? Sage has the answer.
Yesterday, Sage and Sonida Senior Living won Gold in two categories at the 14th Annual McKnight's Long-Term Care News Tech Awards ceremony! It's such an honor for our team's gamechanging work to be recognized by the senior living world! We took top honors in the "Innovative Care Planning" and "Emerging Technology" categories — as McKnights put it: "Sage’s next-generation operations management system takes a transformational approach to incident response, care tracking, and data collection, and is integrated into a single, modern interface." 🥇 #innovation #healthtech #careplanning #seniorliving #gold

CEO. Keynote Speaker. Healthcare System Consultant. Public Health Leader. Equity Practitioner. Business Strategist. Writer. Coach. #GetUncomfortable @natalie4health
CommonHealth ACTION’s work with #healthcare systems and leaders is creating #perspectivetransformation for hospital leaders and the healthcare workforce. This is the intersection of healthcare and public health. It is difficult work that must be driven and owned by brave #leaders. Comprehensive investments to institutionalize #equity and and #equitylens analysis yield meaningful changes to policies and practices. That’s what makes #healthequity a reality with healthcare being a key player. When you work with CommonHealth ACTION we combine assessment; training; executive, peer, and team coaching; strategy; facilitated discussions on identity and power; planning; implementation; and measurement. While it may sound standard (common sense for many), it isn’t solely about WHAT we do. It is more about HOW we do it. As we continue to learn, our success grows. That is only possible due to organizations willing to commit time, capacity, and political capital. #maternalandchildhealth #MCH #publichealth
