But amidst the awe, a question nagged: do we need another skyscraper giant in this compact country? Wasn't Petronas Twin Tower already pushing the clouds aside? I get it, aiming high is good. It fuels ambition, sparks innovation, and makes headlines. But is bigger always better? As we reach for new heights, shouldn't we also focus on our inner core? Merdeka 118 might pierce the sky, but does it pierce our hearts? Are we building empathy alongside these mega-structures? Remember, progress isn't just about external achievements, it's about growing as a society with soul. Maybe Merdeka 118 isn't just a building, it's a metaphor.
