PETRONAS Lubricants International (PLI) and PETRONAS Lubricants Marketing Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (PLMM) are proud to support the Trade Descriptions (Certification and Marking of Engine Oil for Motor Vehicles) Order 2024, a significant step towards eliminating counterfeit engine oils and ensuring consumer safety.   On 20 March 2025, our PETRONAS Melaka Lube Blending Plant (MLBP) was graced with the presence of YB Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali, Minister of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN), Malaysia, and Datuk Omar Shariff Mydeen, Chairman of SIRIM QAS International and other delegates to announce this initiative. The new regulation, effective 7 April 2025, requires all motor vehicle engine oils in Malaysia to carry a SIRIM QAS-certified compliance label – a move that strengthens trust in the industry and safeguards both consumers and manufacturers.   During the event, PLI's Managing Director and Group CEO, Khalil Muri was presented the Product Certificate for Genuine Engine Oil Certification by SIRIM.    PLI and PLMM remain dedicated to working with regulators and industry partners to uphold product authenticity and drive positive change. The boys show off their new toys from trackside! Here's a behind-the-scenes glimpse of Emil Bernsten and Wan Mohd Saifullah Wan Saudi with the team's brand-new Gas Chromatograph that has a digital touchscreen interface. It detects fuel contamination at lower levels, which improves functionality for analysing and comparing samples. Along with the new Spectroil the new equipment has already made the team’s analysis more reliable, with the Gas Chromatograph in particular making it faster to analyse and report results from many samples at once. 💙 92 km for Pediatric Cardiac Surgery! 💙🏃♀️ On Saturday, under beautiful weather conditions, 12 runners from the PetRUNas Team covered a total of over 92 km in the 21st edition of the Marzanna Run. 10 runners successfully completed the Krakowski Bieg dla Małych Serc (5 km run for Little Hearts), while 2 brave participants took on the full 21.0975 km distance, crossing the finish line at the Krakowski Półmaraton Marzanny (Marzanna Half Marathon). The Marzanna Half Marathon is not just a sporting challenge but also an important charity event, with all proceeds supporting the Schola Cordis Foundation, which helps children in need of specialized medical care. Once again, the PetRUNas team enthusiastically joined this meaningful initiative. ❤️ Participants spent weeks preparing—regular training, mutual motivation, and sharing advice—to perform their best on the course. This is not the first and certainly not the last time that the PETRONAS Lubricants International Poland team comes together for a charitable running event.
