This week we’re delighted to welcome our Participants back to the Hub after the summer break, and to launch our new Term 1, 2025, NDIS Program of Support for Community and Social Participation. Our theme for Term 1 workshops and programs is SENSES. Our senses are the gateways through which we experience and connect with the world around us. From sight, sound and scent to touch, taste, and beyond, each sense opens doors to creativity, emotion and shared experiences. We’re inviting our Participants to embark on a journey of sensory discovery with therapeutic and capacity-building outcomes. Through immersive workshops, collaborative projects, and moments of discovery, we’ll celebrate the beauty of our senses and the power they hold to connect us all, all while building capacity and skills along the way. We’re even more excited to share that Self-Portrait by Grace Dodd (One&All Participant), has been selected to represent the theme SENSES for our first-term materials. It’s a perfect reflection of the creativity and exploration that define our workshops. Her artwork was created during one of our self-portraiture art therapy workshops. In this session, participants closed their eyes and used their dominant hand to draw while sensing the textures, shapes and contours of their face with their other hand. The result is a raw, expressive and deeply personal masterpiece that captures Grace’s unique perspective! Grace has blossomed beautifully in our programs, and her growth shines through her art and how she connects with the world around her. Find out more by emailing us at info@oneandallhub.org or book a trial session on our website https://lnkd.in/gT6T58xm. #AccessibilityForAll #InclusiveWorld #BreakingBarriers #EmpowerThroughAccess

Unlocking Creativity Through Art Therapy Workshops In today’s fast-paced work environment, maintaining a steady rhythm of creative thinking is essential for innovation and team cohesion. One powerful way to foster this creativity is through art therapy workshops, where team members can freely express their thoughts and ideas. Imagine a space where you can color, cut, and create—where the pressures of deadlines fade away, and the focus shifts to self-expression. These workshops encourage collaboration and inspire fresh perspectives, allowing team members to break down barriers and think outside the box. Art therapy not only enhances individual creativity but also strengthens team dynamics. Through the process of collage art, participants learn to communicate their ideas visually, leading to deeper discussions and connections. This hands-on approach helps to cultivate an environment where creativity thrives, and innovative solutions emerge. Let’s embrace the power of artistic expression to keep our creative juices flowing and elevate our team's potential! #ArtTherapy #CreativeThinking #TeamBuilding #Innovation #WorkplaceCreativity

Let’s talk about The Gallery Walk! If you’re looking for a way to get people chatting and sharing ideas, this workshop exercise is a great conversation starter. First off, it gets people out of their chairs and moving around, which instantly creates a more relaxed atmosphere. When participants are walking around and interacting with visual displays, they're more likely to feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and engaging with each another. It’s a lot easier to chat in small groups while looking at something interesting than to sit quietly in a circle waiting for your turn to speak. The other great thing about the Gallery Walk is that it encourages diverse perspectives. Everyone sees things differently, and when people stop to discuss what they see, it often leads to deeper conversations. Lightbulb moments happen naturally as participants bounce ideas off each other. In the end, it’s not just about sharing opinions; it’s about building on each other’s insights and having meaningful discussions that everyone can learn from. I encourage people to bring things in on subsequent days and we build a bigger gallery as the class continues. By the last day, you’ve got a vibrant mix of ideas floating around and you've created a lively dialogue that probably wouldn’t have happened in a traditional sit-down format. So get curating! #TrainTheTrainer #FacilitationSkills #GalleryWalk #Icebreakers #TrainingTips #EngageYourAudience #InteractiveTraining #ProfessionalDevelopment #WorkshopIdeas #TeachingTechniques

📊 Monitoring and evaluation (M&E) in programs is like “stepping back” taking a moment 💭 ✌ —a vital pause to assess, reflect, and refine our work. This is similar to how an artist paints a masterpiece, steps back severally to see whether the colors blend, the shapes align, or the story unfolds. (Can't wait to illustrate this "stepping back highlight" in my next post, stay tuned.... 😉). While this resonates with me so much, I am excited to celebrate the completion of Gratitude Network's Springboard Impact M&E program. Thank you too Caren Wakoli Stephen Kimathi Stella Nderitu. This program deepened my understanding of M&E and equipped me with tools that are not just checklists but magnifying glasses to truly measure the footprints we leave in the communities we serve through SmARTie Me. For initiatives like #ARTFusion Impact—where art becomes a vehicle for leadership, wellness, and empowerment—and the #SparkPeaceProject (a #Globalinitiative that encourages #students to use their collective efforts to #communicate the message of #peace through the different categories of #ART), this knowledge will guide us to evaluate and amplify our impact. Here’s to shaping futures, one informed step at a time. 🎉 🎊 #GratitudeNetwork #SmARTieMe #SpringboardImpact #ArtFusionImpact #SparkPeace #MonitoringAndEvaluation #CreativeLeadership #ArtForChange #ImpactEvaluation #YouthEmpowerment #WellnessThroughArt #CommunityDevelopment

For Emily Colombo, being outdoors is a great way to inspire new ideas. So is chatting with creative minds. On January 29, you’re invited to the #IAAPAEducation webinar, “𝗔𝘁𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱: 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.” Together with panelists Ben Thompson, Marc Zachary, Matt Heller, ICAE, and moderator Una de Boer, you’ll hear about the different approaches to creativity as well as examples from the biggest names in our industry that you can borrow and adapt. Topics include: * What makes something original or creative? * How much does technology have a role to play in creativity/creating new experiences? * What’s changing in venue design (accessibility, sustainability, other factors that now need to be incorporated) that maybe need creative solutions? * Does IP reduce creativity? * Does immersive equal creative? Don’t miss out. Register here: https://lnkd.in/gnaxY6ij
