What a great day at Housing 2024! It had an interesting mix of exhibitors/service providers across the whole housing sector, together with some great talks and insights on how tenants can receive the best service. I loved catching up with some old friends from Mobysoft and of course, making new connections! Today, my focus was speaking to software providers and understanding what their core challenges were to achieving a successful implementation. The two main themes were: ⏳️ Customer's bandwidth. A lot of the time, the project team on the customer side are carrying out their tasks "side of desk" meaning they can't focus on key tasks needed to service the implementation such as data cleansing or simply making decisions - their day job has to come first 🎯 Strategic goals are rarely looked at in terms of what key outcomes need to be achieved from the implementation to meet them (see my video on this in the comments on how we can help with this) If the above key challenges sound familiar, get in touch and we can help you! #PoplarProjectManagement #SoftwareProcessImprovement #SoftwareImplementation #ProjectManagement
