Wrapping up the week and reflecting on two great work trips recently ✈ 🌍 First was the TEAMS Conference & Expo Conference in BEAUTIFUL Anaheim, California, where #sport and #esports organisers discussed how live events are evolving. There's a lot of focus on blending digital and in-person experiences, especially with the rapid growth of esports. A lot if interest in London! Next up, and a little bit jet-lagged, I attended PCMA EMEA in #Barcelona, where conversations covered everything from sustainability to creating  to creating events that truly connect with people. It was so great to reconnect with old friends and make new connections during both events. Happy Friday everyone!

INSIGHT: The London Convention Bureau has reported a record year for business events, adding more than £158m to the #London economy. Spanning from January to September 2024, this marks the highest record since post-Covid recovery and a 32% year-on-year increase. The data also showed a 28% increase in the number of events ranging across fintech, life sciences, and sustainability – up from 25 to 32. LATEST: Today we're unveiling our new collaboration with waste & recycling specialists Bywaters, which includes an ambitious recycling rate of 75% by the end of 2025, followed by year-on-year volume reductions.
