Trauma-informed listening is more than just hearing words—it's about creating a supportive space where survivors feel truly heard and validated. It helps you build trust, rapport, and connection with someone who has experienced trauma and goes one step further to avoid triggering or re-traumatizing them by being sensitive to their needs and boundaries. Our One Future Helpline was envisioned with the same intention in mind. As part of our Digital Community Centre, it offers a safe space for you to share your feelings and find support with our trauma-informed peer listeners. This service is entirely pro-bono and available in both Hindi and English. Swipe to see some testimonials from those who have found solace through our helpline and learn why this approach is so impactful. If you’re looking for someone to listen, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here for you, every Monday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 06:00 PM at ☎️ 08043053588. - One Future Collective exists to advance social justice by catalysing people power and just institutions. We are a feminist social purpose organisation with a vision of a world built on social justice, led by communities of care. Healing isn't something we do alone—it is fundamentally a collective process rooted in our interconnectedness. When we come together as a community, we create spaces that foster dialogue, resilience, and mutual support, challenging the oppressive systems that perpetuate isolation and marginalization. Community means more than mere proximity; it is about building relationships grounded in trust, empathy, and shared purpose. It requires us to actively listen to one another's experiences, cultivate inclusive spaces for dialogue, and engage in initiatives that enhance collective well-being. In solidarity, we recognize that our struggles are interconnected, and we commit to supporting one another in our shared journey. #CommunityHealing #BuildingCommunity #HealingTogether #ResilienceInCommunity #BreakTheIsolation #CollectiveWellbeing #CommunitySupport #HealingThroughConnection

Today, on National Sorry Day, we pause to remember and reflect on the mistreatment of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, particularly the Stolen Generations children who were forcibly removed from their families and communities. This day is a vital reminder of the historical injustices and ongoing impacts these actions have had on Indigenous communities. The trauma experienced by the Stolen Generations has profound and lasting effects on mental health. Many individuals and families continue to grapple with the emotional and psychological repercussions of these policies. Acknowledging this history is a crucial step toward healing and reconciliation. At MindCare Collective, we recognize the importance of addressing the mental health needs of Indigenous communities. Understanding the deep-seated impacts of past injustices allows us to provide more empathetic and effective support. It also reinforces our commitment to promoting mental health awareness and advocacy for all individuals, regardless of their background. As we commemorate National Sorry Day, let's renew our commitment to reconciliation and the mental well-being of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples ! #NationalSorryDay #Reconciliation #MentalHealth #IndigenousRights #StolenGenerations #Healing #Inclusion #MindCareCollective

On this International Family Day, let's take a moment to reflect on the profound importance of familial bonds and the warmth they bring to our lives. In a world where connections are often fleeting, our families stand as steadfast pillars of support, love, and understanding. However, amidst the celebrations, it's crucial to acknowledge the realities that many families, including those in Pakistani society, face. We cannot ignore the growing chasm of communication that sometimes divides generations within families. It's a heartbreaking truth that in some circles, genuine dialogue and understanding between parents and their children have become increasingly scarce. In Pakistan, as in many cultures, this lack of communication within families can have profound consequences. It's disheartening to see younger generations, who should find solace and guidance within their family units, turning elsewhere for support. Fearful of judgment or misunderstanding, they may retreat into themselves, seeking comfort in friends or outside influences instead of opening up to their own flesh and blood. As we observe International Family Day, let's pledge to bridge these gaps within our families. Let's create spaces of openness, empathy, and acceptance where every member feels heard, valued, and understood. Let's break down the barriers of silence and stigma surrounding mental health and personal struggles, encouraging an environment of compassion and support. Together, let's strive to foster stronger, more resilient families where love knows no bounds, and communication knows no barriers. Because when we strengthen our families, we strengthen our communities, our societies, and our world.
