The metals recycling industry is essential. We manufacture essential products which translates to the creation of essential jobs. We are also essential for the well being of our environment. Not only are we keeping recyclable materials out of the landfill, but we are repurposing these materials in an environmentally friendly manner. And, in the initial steps of processing, we are removing fluids that can be harmful to the environment if allowed to leak into the ground. The metals recycling industry has been around for hundreds of years, and in this time, our ability to protect the environment has only gotten better. As technology evolves, we will only see further improvements in our environmental protection abilities. Remember, those of us in the metals recycling industry are the original environmentalists! #GlobalRecyclingDay 18.03 Recycling materials has many positive impacts for nature, environment, and society like some listed below. ·      CO2 emission decrease ·      Energy consumption decrease ·      Water consumption decrease ·      Efficient utilization of waste resources But its full potential can only be realized when the feedstock waste is fully free of legacy chemicals like additives, process chemicals, non-intentionally added substances and other contaminants upon use which are hazardous and classified. Use of innovation and technology in sorting, separation, treatment, and recycling is the key to leverage the waste resources. I pledge to do my bit for the same.

The Benefits of Paper Packaging 📦 The paper has become an integral part of our daily lives, as the future belongs to packaging materials made from renewable and recycled raw materials. For this reason, we all must contribute to the proper management of it. Recycling paper significantly contributes to reducing the impacts originating from industries. The summarized benefits are as follows: 1.Reduction of waste volume Conservation of natural resources and energy. 2.Reduction of atmospheric pollution. 3.Reduction of water pollution. 4.Reduction of the quantity of paper produced from timber exploitation. Statistically, recycling one ton of paper is capable of saving 17 trees, 7,000 gallons of water, 380 liters of oil, 3.3 cubic meters of landfill space, and 4,000 kilowatt-hours of energy. By strongly supporting this effort, we create the most sustainable solution for paper packaging through the use of recycled paper.

What 4evergreen is doing in the field of #recyclability?   💡 Taking into consideration technologies available in the EU, in 2022 we published the Recyclability Evaluation Protocol. The conversion of plastic and tire waste into an energy carrier (heating oil, diesel, grill coke, syngas) New design / built gas generator that produces almost tar-free (5-10 mg/Nm3) synthesis gas, Electricity produced from syngas: our syngas generator® that produces fuel for the gas engine power generator. A very important aspect at gasification, only pyrolyzed coal (from RDF / plastic / tire / etc.) can be gasified to a quality suitable for a gas engine. Filter out the tar from the synthesis gas with the resulting pyrolytic carbon, then gasify the tarry pyrolytic coal. There is no need for a gas tank in the system, the gas quantity is regulated by the gas quantity demand of the gas engine (engine suction). Gas production stops when the gas engine stops. Syngas production starts when the gas engine is started, continuous electricity production takes place after 15 minutes Syngas calorific value option selection: a) from air oxygen, when the calorific value of the produced syngas is 5-6 MJ/Nm3 (since the nitrogen content of the air is 78%, which reduces the calorific value of syngas) b) with a microwave vapor plasma torch, when the heating calorific value of the produced syngas is 20-30 MJ/Nm3 (microwave vapor plasma consists exclusively of hydrogen and oxygen; both components are active reagents that participate in oxidation-reduction reactions To date, I have been approached several times by entrepreneurs from oil-rich countries, where the government should finance projects in a larger part if they do not want their country to be covered in waste. Our innovation in environmental protection is the use of microwave technology. The microwave vapor plasma technology I developed is environmentally friendly: no nitrogen oxides, no sulfur dioxide, minimal carbon dioxide and odorless emissions What should we do with more and more garbage? The conversion of waste into an energy carrier has become relevant because the production of electricity from waste is slowly being replaced by solar and wind energy, because their operating costs are almost zero, the amortization of the equipment Waste-to-energy plant a great alternative to reduce the area for waste treatment and disposal, in addition to generating energy for all small cities in the region.
