It’s a platform upon which folks have the opportunity to tell their story, bring people in and around what they are creating or looking to build, and most importantly, allow the community to support them in taking those first, second or 20th steps towards achieving success - in whatever success means to them. - So as a follow up to the above, the pitch should be about a minute with a portion being who you are (10-15sec), what your idea/business/dream is (20-30 seconds), and a closing that talks about where you are now and where you think you will be in the near future (15-20 seconds). Emphasizing again this is a ‘Community Investment’ primarily in you, which means your story and hook does not need to be hockey stick growth, it just needs to be your authentic story on how you believe your idea (and you as the founder) can achieve certain goals and milestones.
